Das Video muss ziemlich neu sein, weil bei 3:41 sieht man, dass die Baustelle für die B54-Unterführung (Günser Str. in Wiener Neustadt) bereits eingerichtet ist. Allerdings muss es vor dem 6. März gedreht worden sein, denn es ist noch Autoverkehr am Bahnübergang...

Health and safety regulations in Austria are so different from the UK. At 07:55 there are no barriers whatsoever - what's to stop a child from losing control of his bicycle and ending up on the tracks?

Nothing. I haven't heard of such thing happening. UK railways aren't safer, just more paranoid.

Nah theres nothing happening at all, people keep an eye of their belongings, no need for barriers. There are similar spots on the route and it happens rarely that something falls on the tracks. If something drops off its most likely cars

Wunderbar! Die Strecke südlich von Mattersburg über Ödenburg nach Deutschkreutz (ab Loipersdorf einst eine der vier ÖBB-Korridorstrecken) habe (bisher) nicht einmal ich gekannt. (Aber du solltest im Titel "Führerstandsmitfahrt" dazuschreiben, sonst findet man sie unter diesem Hashtag nicht.)
