4.5 years for CA vs 1 year CPA??? That's the problem with EVERY one of these comparisons. First of all, to qualify for CPA, you MUST have 150 Credit hours (roughly a master's degree) which MUST include 30-33 Credits of pure account classes. When making comparison, you are comparing apples to orange. For CA, you are including the entire curriculum + exams where with CPA you are only taking into account the exam time. This is incorrect.

There's no exception in US CPA...there might be some exemption in Australia or Canada CPA... but not in US CPA

You cannot start your firm in India, You can start your firm after general 3-5 years of experience in USA, So you can open your firm in USA but not in India. USA also have high demand for CPA because people have to pay taxes with the help of CPAs and CPA is also reputable in USA equal to CA of India.
