I think the Corvette deserved the mid engine makeover it got. If you really think about it what was a front engine corvette? A sports car made by Chevy. What other front engine sports car is made by Chevy? Yep the Camaro. So the front engine Corvette was just a fancier grown up version of the Camaro 🤮. Yuck, when you think of Corvette you should be thinking of high end sports cars, that have nothing in common with a Camaro. Making the Corvette mid engine makes it unique, just something about it makes it feel special.

Well.. I would love an expensive car. Like a Maybach, ah Roll’s Royce, a Bentley. Just not those overpriced, juice gulping pedal karts. Even if I had the money, paying 400 at Bugatti for a 40 dollar Volvo part is not what I call being smart. Building your own sleeper is also a lot more fun. I’m not saying that’s the case with this C8. I barely know anything about the C8. Just that expensive does not mean nice or of good quality.

I'm not hating on C8s or any Corvette, I'm just saying C5 is the best imo. 2004 Z06 6 speed, fckn classic. I did see a C8 the other day doing 80 UP a mountain. Not really impressive, any car can do that, except for the fact that it was almost idling. 80 UP a mountain at what seems like 1500rpm. That's crazy.

C8 is literally the best car for most car lovers. It’s quick, comfortable, great handling and decently practical. Even if I have the money to pay for supercars, corvette is more than enough for most people’s needs. It’s value is just impossible to beat.

The C8 is what Chevrolet has been trying to build since day 1. Chevrolet was gonna make the corvette mid-engine when they made the first one and couldn't get it down until the C8. And for anyone that wants to argue that Chevrolet never wanted that or that they preferred the RWD which is why they stuck with it until the c7 then hear this out. Chevrolet made 8 mid-engine prototypes until they finally made the C8.
