Looks great Chris!! A rear spoiler really makes the ass end look a lot better on C5’s. I own a Torch Red one, I just installed a Spoiler Kings rear spoiler, the V1 model, and it really makes it look a lot more aggressive!!!! Love it!!!

I also sort of wondered this. It's probably not the worst place, but I wouldn't think laying your nice freshly painted spoiler on your car is the best place to do it either.

Looks Great , just ordered one for my 2000 C5 Convertible. Bought it at Corvette Guys $329 with free shipping. This SLP Spoilers are getting very hard to buy . 👍

rear spoiler and wider quarter panels i installed on my c5 it makes a big difference wait until you pull up to a stock c5 no mods plain stock you'll go man what a difference

No, for several reasons. But most of all, the OEM carpets had like 1/8” thick rubber backing on them. The new carpet does not. So whatever insulation value that provided about equals the new Vette Nutz kit. So it’s about the same result.

The spoiler install is the perfect addition to the C5. I think I would have also applied the adhesion promoter to the mounting surface on the bumper as well. Watching you clean the rear bumper as well as the taillight lips that gather sooooo much dust, I saw that you have after-market LED's, but there is a kit, at least for the factory lights, that allow you to flush mount thereby doing away with that lip. Maybe this is something you should look into. No such kit, or light conversion exists for the C6's though. :-( Save the Wave.

Looks great Chris, but I gotta ask ya if you put any fine scratches on your rear deck, doing all the work, applying the tape, with that spoiler moving around? I think rear spoilers really improve the looks of most cars. That or a low wing looks great on a vette. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Looks great, i really thinks this is the only wing/spoiler thats looks nice on the C5. Perfect on a streetcar. Seen a lot of big strange wings for C5 that i dont think fit the design at all. An APR racewing can look nice too but i belive i it get too much after some time having it. I mounted a ZR1 wing on my C6, thinks that looks perfect, not too mutch or too little. Keep up the good work🏎

I have been subscribed to you when I bought my 03 MSG, and have looked at copied some of the mods that you have done, such as the ACA style lights, Halo taillights and I also did my third brake light. This is off topic, but while watching the video, I saw that the lower bumper was black. Is this a diffuser, wrap or paint. I have been wanting that look, but Im not sure I want to spend the money on the diffuser yet. Thanks in advance and keep up the awesome videos.

Well let me be the first to say Chris that you couldn't go wrong with white on white. It would look sinister if it was black to match the facia and wheels. But that might attract the ricers to challenge you more often. Bless their little hearts.

My understanding is that they have stopped making them. It was from SLP.

It looks good, but I think it makes the C5 look a bit similar to the C6. I think I saw a Supra.

I had to stop both surfaces are scratched now..laying it on the emblem hurt my soul

A heat gun or hair dryer helps the tape adhere better!

Looks good but not for my Black C5 Coupe. I like the stock look without any bolt-ons or should I say tape-ons. The C5 and C6 are the last of Chevrolet’s clean looking body’s. I won’t mess with them. I don’t even like the rear brake vent look on a C5. No bolt-ons or stick-ons for my C5. Maybe because I am old school. Been driving Corvettes and owning at least one for the last 50 years. Still own 4 today a C2,C3,C5 and C6 all Coupes.

I like the concept and front/back views are nice but from the side it doesn’t look as nice - gives the appearance of a cheap add on. Also it uses tape?? That wears off over time so hitting the highway at 70mph that thing will be a missile in someone’s windshield sooner or later

I'm not a big fan of spoilers or wings on the rear of C5s.

It matches. The quarter panels, rear bumper, and the wing were all painted at the same time in the same booth. They match. Trust me.

I Don't know why but I don't like wing in any c5 its same take out view from it

Nice spoiler! Doesn't match the white, I probably would have done black to match the wheels and the wrap.
