Can't see the heads up display from here but would be curious to know what speeds you were going (I'm a state trooper😛😛). My c5 also has the HUD but have yet to be on a nice wide open road like this; would have to travel outside Boston a ways to get on a road like this. Was going to ask where you live but just looked up and says Mexico.

I’m guessing that your oil pressure sending unit has taken a crap. The part is cheap to purchase, but you should fix that soon. It’s a common problem on C5’s.

@@swiftripper7557 If you check online, there’s a way to install the sending unit remotely so if it goes bad again, you could replace it in a couple of minutes other than a couple of hours.

Has left the chat on most c5s at this point. Iv yet to meet anyone who doesnt have trouble with them just randomly turning off and keep popping up or staying off for a few days or weeks before deciding to work again.

@@nolanboyer6883 mine on my 2001 stays on, my buddy has a 2002 z06 his stays on at all times doesnt bother me I can drive well enough to handle the car getting a little sideways. That said I'm not claiming to be a pro driver or anything but a little squirrely I can handle.

35 mph speed limit sign next to a bunch of houses does not a back road make. Stay safe and save the wave.

It's just the weatherstripping. If you replace it, make sure to get quality stuff, and not cheap chinese weather stripping or it will go bad and have poor sealing. Not an issue unless the sound bothers you

Best of luck with it! And yes, the quality of the oem rubber seals on the targa top are terrible so I get a lot of wind noise and occasional water leaks when I wash the car.

It will really depend on the condition of your top but mine doesn’t really leak in the rain. My buddy however has had two tops that leaked consistently when it rained

Hello..I love the video, I just gotta understand where in the U.S. can you drive this fast???..I'm in Minnesota and I have a gorgeous 6 speed 1997 c5 but no where in the state is allowed to even get close to the speeds you just hit...I just got a 141$ ticket for Driving 49 miles a hour in a 35 zone...where is this video taken??

Just look for 2001+ and you will be safe, EBCM can be repaired, just not on previous years.

Oil pressure gauge, tcs/abs light. Typical c5😂

Cool vid. But I have to say fix the dam car man. Driving Ike that with the car not in perfect condition is crazy also turn of the location if your gonna say it was Mexico. You know a track day is only $300 bucks way cheaper then a ticket.

The ABS is crapshoot on 97-2000 model c5s, can’t be repaired and the module is no longer produced. 1,800$ for a new one that could fail in 10 miles

@@lukeciarallo5419 I have 6 cars . I Race and track them all. They are all kept in Maticulous condition. Do yourself a favor spend.some time on track . Since you're a new driver it will give you valuable skills. As well as help you become a faster safer driver.

People need to remember is, that 140 kph is only 86 mph. Sorry b, you can only fool some of the people all of the time ¿`_
