Wow! I don't have the heads up in my C5, but good stuff!!

I bought mine 3 years ago. Yep, hud didn't work. Mirror fell. I did the old screw trick. I need to do the legit repair.

@chrisj2308 I tried taking off the plastic he is talking about but I don't think mine was as brittle as his so I stopped there lol 😅

My plastic hinge pin broke. So off came the dash. Replaced with small screw.

I have a hypothesis. Only clapped out c5’s have broke heads up displays… from the free wheel hop Chevy gave us. lol.

🤣🤣 Mine was a one owner (old new balance wearing man 🤣) & it was broken when I got it. Now I’ve clapped it out over the last 7 years, but it has held up since the original fix in 2017!
