imagine this. your in your bed. about to fall asleep. but then you wake up. in your child hood bedroom looking around wondering why your here. you see your tv is on with minecraft xbox 360 on it. you see the OG controllers perfectly set down. the sun shines through your window and you hear that one nostalgic bird outside. you hear your friend on your mic. “dude are we gonna play or what! it’s *2013* wake up!” you finally realize that all the paint you went through in the past is over. no more covid. no riots. no drama. no depression. just being a kid again. life is now back to normal. all of your childhood friends are back and young again. life is good. you smile thinking about how things are better now. all while this plays in the background. man i miss playing with them, during the pandemic i had a shitty laptop and even though i played at like 20 frames we always had a blast, gaming every day making new experiences and now i got a new computer, suddenly they are all gone, some off to colleague and some of them not on this earth anymore, its feels lonely and kind of sad but i guess that's life, experiencing great things just for them to be gone and preparing you for newer and better things, sometimes i wish i could have enjoyed my time with those people better.

Great rendition and well played. The only thing i didn't quite enjoy is the change of the ending. It's not supposed to end in the root of the key, and I personally think trying to resolve it made the piece lose some of it's bittersweet charm. Beautiful cover!
