I bought a similar tool from Amazon that came with next to zero instructions, so this video has been super helpful at showing me how to properly assemble the tool for installing the new ones.

Good video Ben...the freezer trick for bearing races and bushing etc was taught to me probably 43 years ago by my Dad. /it works for sure. I grease the threads on both the clamp part and the pusher, I don't know if it helps but it can't hurt.

Awesome Ben. Did all the bushings on my 73 coupe 7 years ago. Wish I had that tool then. It was a long day doing them.

I have the same tool from Summit. I had no issues with the installation or removal. Worked like a charm.

It helps to oil the thread on the puller. Also, to remove the bushing, heat arm and put an ice cube on the bushing sleeve after. You bent the arm taking that one out, so be careful to have the sleeve of the puller pushing only on a reinforced area and not a part that can bend. Part of your binding is the inner sleeve sticking to the shaft. Before trying to pull the bushings, put some penetrating oil (ATF, PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench, etc.) on both ends of the bushing inner sleeve on both ends of the shaft and work the arm up and down to loosen the sleeve from the shaft. Also, on installation, make sure the arm is in the at rest position on the car before tightening the bushing end caps and bolts. You don't want the bushing to be twisted in its normal resting position.

Hey bud, I just picked up a 74 vette. Traded my ol' roadrunner for it. Needs some luv of course, heater not hooked up, tranny needs gone thru, headlights not functioning, ect...ect. front-end making a cluncking sound while backing up and turning, guessing it's a ball joint or 2. But it's complete, and in decent shape overall.

8:53 pm Been watching your channel for a while, love it! The wife and I are acquiring a Corvette free of charge, it was her cousin’s who unfortunately passed on. I have only seen pictures of it at this point, I believe it is a 77, it’s been sitting outside for I don’t know how long. The first thing I am going to do is check the frame and the birdcage. If all checks out, I may be contacting you for some parts. Any more tips on what I should be looking for would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Wow at 1m40-45 sec I could read instructions in French too. Good that manufacturers write it in 3 languages in NA , where I am. Lowers the cost. But them again, when I get parts from the EU, the instructions are in 7+ languages. Thinking of it, IKEA had good idea of only using pictographics. Yet, some car repairs/parts require more that pictures to install….😅

Hola!!! No! Y noooo! Aquí todo es prohibitivo
