Looks like a theatre/staged kiss, where one puts their thumbs over the other person’s lips and kisses their thumbs instead of the other person’s lips.

Sharon - it was an ad-libbed kiss. Jenn asked that the photos be staged like their first kiss ( Oliver hold Felicitys face) and their last kiss (felicity holding Oliver’s face). But the picture has to be retaken b/c there was a glare from the sign she was holding up. When they did the retake Stephen just grabbed Emily and kissed her. He said he hadn’t gotten to do it in awhile. Both Emily and Stephen have stated they don’t have any physical boundaries with each other due to the fact that their characters played lovers for 5yrs and they are very close in real life. After sharing kisses on screen for so long there is no reason to use thumbs to block a kiss.at this point.
