Yes, with only 5 main ingredients, this bhel is a super tasty daily treat for many people in years for years. People of Porbandar just love it.
Today I am sharing a perfect recipe of making Porbandar famous Bapu Ni Bhel style bhel at home.
This is the excellent example of the how the simplicity of making any food exceptionally delicious, when the preparation of each ingredient is unique.

KHAJOOR IMLI CHUTNEY
1 glass Water (पानी)
50 grams Dry Imli (सुखी इमली)
12 to 15 nos. seedless dates (खजूर)
A piece of Jaggery (गुड का बड़ा टुकड़ा)
½ tsp Salt (नमक)
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पावडर)
½ tsp Coriander Cumin Powder (धनिया जीरा पावडर)
½ glass Water (पानी)
GARLIC CHUTNEY
8 nos. Garlic Cloves (लहसुन)
1 tsp Salt (नमक)
½ tsp Coriander Cumin Powder (धनिया जीरा पावडर)
1.5 tsp mix of Kashmiri & Spicy Red Chilli Powders
१.५ चम्मच कश्मीरी और तीखा लाल मिर्च पावडर मिक्स
½ cup Water (पानी)
2 nos. Boiled Potatoes (उबले हुए आलू)
Onion (प्याज)
Chopped Coriander Leaves (हरा धनिया)
Rice Poha (पोहा)
Puffed Rice - double quantity (पोहा से दो गुना मुरमुरा)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पावडर)
1 tsp Red Chilli Powder (लाल मिर्च पावडर)
1 tsp Salt (नमक)

Manishaben, હા પોરબંદરની બાપુની ભેળ અનોખી ભેળ છે, કયારેય ના ખાધી હોય એ પહેલી વાર જુએ ત્યારે એવું લાગે કે આ તે કેવી ભેળ, પણ સાચું કહું તો આના જેવી એકેય ભેળ નહીં.... બીજે ગમે એટલું ઉમેરતાં હોય પણ આની મજા અલગ જ છે.... ચોકકસ બનાવજો જ અને મેં જે ટીપ્સ આપી છે એનું ખાસ ધ્યાન રાખજો.... ખૂબ આભાર😊
