Intro is 4/4 at quarter note=117 bpm, next few measures are 4/4 at quarter note=155 bpm with one 2/4 and a 3/4 in there. Right before the Chorus is a 10/8 measure (or 2 5/8 measures) at 8th note=310 bpm (Same tempo as previously). Chorus alternates between 11/8 and 12/8 at 8th note=330 bpm. The instrumental part after the chorus is either 12/8 or 6/4 depending on how you look at it. I think it switches to 6/4 after 3 measures. My Savior

I love how this music is both chaotic and like a bittersweet love song. It beautifully portrayed the tragedy of Kaneki having a changed life as Haise Sasaki as well as jumpstarting a new chapter in his story with the Quinx. The first time I heard it, it felt Soo much like this song took some nostalgic inspiration from Tokyo Ghoul √A's opening MUNOU by Österreich, the way it's melody took sudden shifts in tune like the former!

This song has a chaotic sound of confusion like Haise is experiencing after losing his memories. Unravel displays the lonely sadness Kaneki was feeling for not having a place in a cruel world.

Honestly, I love season 2’s opening too. It also fits what was happening really well, in an artistic way.

The mix for this song is so stellar. Whoever mixed it got the vibe and valence of the song perfectly. The drums and bass are insanely powerful.

@@Bigbysheriff The anime (no disrespect to the people who worked on it, the artwork and voice acting was beautiful and very well done) was kind of bad, in a sense of plot. After they made Kaneki join the Aogiri, the plot was ruined. There's a scene in :Re that shows Tsukiyama reminiscing on a scene that shows Banjo, Kaneki (with white hair), and Hinami sitting together. This scene would've been impossible because of Kaneki joining the Aogiri in the anime. That scene only happened in the manga.

Omfg bro this might be my favorite song of ALL TIME i cant even understand the words, but the singing, bass, and use of sounds along with it kinda taking turns letting the instruments shine here and there, REALLY JUST HITS ME IN ALL THE RIGHT PLACES AND FEELS, and all the unpredictably of it randomly dropping all the other instruments and letting the piano with her voice play out for even a second just peaks this even farther for me.
