We aren't late to the party, but we do need to remember to enjoy the party every once in a while. Does your heart long to join in the great chorus that awaits us all with every tribe and tongue. I can't fathom it but I can't wait either. There's part of me that wants it now too, for our world to get pulled into that a bit more each day. What do you long for? I know we get earthly cravings and some of these are fine! I'm not dismissing that, as Jesus knows our humanity and the little things that can soothe us now. I'm looking ahead though at what is it at the base level when all is said and done - what is it that I ultimately crave?
