C Rider Hard Enduro Drills

As i was preparing for a 2024 King of Motos Hard Enduro Race, i've decided to focus on 3 techniques that I believe could make me a better rider and help with efficiency in hard terrain:
1. Stand up on footpegs as quickly as possible when starting motion in hard terrain, avoid sitting from the standstill.
2. Look ahead, plot a line that connects multiple obstacles together, instead of stopping after each obstacle.
3. Keep your momentum in creeks and rock gardens. This is more of endurance exercise, you need to get comfortable with bike bouncing around.

Great video! As a C rider that just moved up to B, I agree with you. Balance is key, and practicing it in all conditions is super important. Doing drills in the garage, as well as super tight figure 8s and such, has really helped me. The other aspect is traction. Getting it and maintaining it. The hardest part of hard enduro is that there is often a lack of space to get momentum easily, so you have maximize traction on the few inches you have. I think tackling the same obstacle over and over is key to practicing like a pro. Most amateurs will do a thing until they get it right, pros will do it until they can’t get it wrong. I’ve been doing this recently and noticed a big difference in my riding.

Great video Eugene, I can't believe how applicable this content is to me. If you're looking for someone to hit Carnegie or other norcal sites (stonyford, hollister, etc.) lmk, I'm also a c classer in the area with my 2 wheeled orange monsters ... they need some more scratches...also a medic and survival teacher if we're out in the boonies.

MOMENTUM!!! 99% of all rider challenges. Use the engine to raise the RPM's and use the clutch as a launching mechanism; stay balanced and launch your bike right up and through the obstacle.
