They already did improve the song in star allies and even rainbow curse before it

Hal can somehow prove that you can improve PERFECTION. CROWNED is already probably the most iconic final boss theme for Kirby but Hal went and made it sound even more epic than it ever was. I honestly am so happy a new generation can play this game and hear this music because it deserves it status as one and in my opinion the BEST Kirby boss theme.

It's pretty amazing how the final boss themes uses the character's theme as the game's main 'leitmotifs' to represent the story of the game. In this case, Magolor theme is one of the game's main themes and it has received several arrangements in this remake which makes Magolor having the most (other than King Dedede) 'received / remixed' arrangements of all characters in the series

Magalor wasn't bad at all. His hunger for power and corruption of Master Crown did this to him, but still, even after being possessed and used like a puppet, he wants to apologize to people that truthfully caring about him. That is why Magalor is my favourite in Kirby franchise. He was possessed, but he wanted to apologize, and did it, thus getting a true friends.

I would argue that Magolor betrayed Kirby and friends out of greed and lust for power but it makes sense why he would apologize. He clearly didn't anticipate the crown taking control of his mind and body, I'm glad he was forgiven though. Magolor will always be my favorite villain since his betrayal shook my like 8 year old mind lol

Bro, I was so glad when Kirby's Return to Dreamland well... RETURNED. But even some of my Kirby-loving friends had no idea about this game 🙁. I gladly showed them and now they love this game and everything in it. The Wii version I mean. I haven't played the Switch version yet. But when I get it eventually, I know it'll be a blast like it is on Wii. Even though I fully completed the Wii version. Now there's new in-game material for me to enjoy. (When I get it).

Even though they’re essentially the same song, I prefer the original version of CROWNED. I’m glad a game like this exists so newer generations can experience Return to Dreamland who never owned a Wii. It’s little things like the intro vocals being slightly changed, the production and dynamics are more open (a lot of reverb), and it sounds more compressed…but maybe that’s just the Switch.

The original is this: "A sad shell possessed by the limitless power of the Master Crown, no more than a manifestation of the crown itself." These all indicate that Magolor himself feels sorry for his actions, it only gets a change of tone once you get to Phase 2 in The True Arena, which is this: "Kirby... Ugh! I hate having to rely on you, and your vacant stare when I revealed my grand plan was truly insulting. Well, let's see if you can break this thing on my head. If you can, then someday...hee hee heee...I may get to toy with you again!" This pause description makes literally zero sense if we assume this is Magolor talking... Especially because Magolor literally JUST gave you an apple before being completely possessed by the Crown. Magolor WANTS you to win, and not for the reasons stated in this description. Rather, it seems more like this version of Magolor is one completely under the control of the Master Crown, which has been shown to be sentient, and likely is toying with the emotions of its opponent by manipulating Magolor's real feelings into the opposite. In Phase 2 of Magolor Soul in The True Arena, we even hear Magolor crying in vain and wishing to be saved from the Crown. With this, we can deduce he is very sorry.

If I remember correctly, the game was meant to be more difficult than the original. The battle against Magolor Soul in the True Arena is very different than the Extra version.

So in the original version, you were able to see magolor's mouth in his first phase and when he changes in his DX version in extra mode. But here in Deluxe, they removed his mouth. The mouth obly appears in phase two with the dark matter eye.

You just can't be pleased, can you? They saved that for the Soul fight! Plus, if every last boss had a ton of new stuff the True Arena would just be too much lol

they bass boosted all the audio files if you rip them raw and people for some reason think certain songs that are obviously not remade were remade the remade ones are mid and a lot of the new songs are taken from other kirby games (not the tunes themselves, the songs in their rendition, like how smash uses air ride frozen hillside instead of remastering/remixing it but mass attack has it's own rendition of frozen hillside (technically because the instruments are arranged differently in the song) )
