This actually happened irl to conjoined twin sisters Daisy and Violet Hilton. Daisy died first of the flu, and her sister died a few days afterwards, they were both found together in their home. Really tragic… especially how Violet would’ve been stuck attached to her dead sister for so long

“I can’t hear her anymore.” That really got to me, because for a lot of the show you think Dot hates Bette being attached to her and wants an operation to separate them even if it would mean Bette dying. So it just shows she really does care about her sister, and probably wouldn’t have it even if she dreams about it sometimes. This whole season was pretty tragic and depressing, and certain scenes were really dark and disturbing. I’m not sure why it has a bad rep, I really loved Freak Show, it was the last season in AHS I thought was really interesting and spectacular.

When you really think about it in the fantasy Dot knew the cupcake was poisoned and that’s why she rejected but still let Bette eat one which killed her and she simply told her “serves you right”. It wasn’t until Dot started to feel the physical pain of Bette’s death due to them still being conjoined that she wanted her to be saved and she got killed as a result. Once she snapped back to reality, only THEN did she reject the cupcake for both of them. It’s almost like she weighed the pros and cons and decided it wouldn’t work out the way she hoped considering the whole season she was fantasizing about being her own person. I’m also pretty sure that was her fantasy/intuition since her facial expression at the end showed she knew something was up.

Why would she fantasize about her own death? It’s the guy’s fantasy, and it gets interrupted when Dot rejects it for Bette. In the fantasy, she doesn’t reject it because it’s poisoned but because she’s not a trusting person and is trying to focus on the deal. And she doesn’t know WHY he would be trying to kill them, so why would she fantasize about him showing off to an appraiser?
