Elise has always been one of my favorites and the dancer’s story is so touching! Just have tears in my eyes for these amazing people. So genuine. So kind. So warm. So loving.

The most emotional part of the whole film!! Celine and Elise totally build an incredible strong bonding together for over 30 years!!! Love those moments when they connect with each other on stage. Lucky to see the Taking Chances Tour in NYC at Madison Square Garden and recently on the Courage Tour together in Brooklyn. Can't wait to see them both together again when Celine feels ready and recovered. In case anyone may not know: Elise started working for Celine in the late 80's as a sub backup singer during Celine's Incognito Tour. She also subbed on several dates for the Unison Tour. It wasn't until 1994 during The Colour of My Love Tour when Elise became the official permanent and still going backup singer for Celine ever since!! She's done EVERY single world tour and both Vegas residencies. Of course, Elise's voice is incredible but also a multi-talented instrumentalist.... Cello, Piano, and of course Tin Whistle (when Celine performs My Heart Will Go On).

As an adopted child, I was told SO OFTEN that I wasn’t really originating from, or linked to, the country where I was born……. Now that I’m an adult, I know that all of that is bullshit. Im glad to be rewatching this with a broader view.
