I'm wondering why this song didn't get more attention and play. It's one of my favourites and fits very nicely in the Smooth Jazz genre. Definitely on my playlist.

It received incredible air play on 94.7 KTWV (The Wave), the premier smooth jazz station in Los Angeles. That was where I first discovered her.

KOST 103.5 used to play this jam especially at night. I first fell in love with this song after I also came back from the Gulf War serving as medical support for the Marines in Saudi Arabia. Back then EL Toro Marine Corps Air Station and Tustin MCAS was still open and I was stationed there. Met an amazing lady and we danced to this song. Kenny G is playing the powerful sax that makes it so beautiful.

there is something so ethereal about this song...quite a masterpiece...

I first remember hearing this on the Martin Collins night show on London’s Capital Radio, back in 1992. Totally fell in love with it. Think Kenny G on sax is the perfect icing on top

Very underrated gem,my favourite song from Celine

Not only my fave Celine song but my FAVE song of all time. So romantic, so calming, so jazzy and smooth. I wish I had a dollar for every time I've listened to this. I have to say I think some of her earlier works were her best, but still a great artist.

It was! It was played from the Pacific Coast all the way to at least Dallas, that I know of. I am pretty sure it got air time all the way to the East Coast as well. Every single state that I travelled across the west, "Halfway to Heaven" was played over the airways. This was from 1992 through the middle of 1994.

It's a cold and raining day Oct. 2020 I first heard this song 1994 or 1995 on the soap opera Another World, and it drove me crazy, I have never forgotten it. Celine Dion voice is a Gift from God and there is no other than can come close to her. Thank you Celine.
