+razrv3lc I don't think that belting would suit the vibe of the studio recording. She definitely was able to do it even back then. It's kinda hard to properly describe it, but I consider the live arrangement to be a bit more assertive in terms of delivering the message of the song (in a good way). Love both versions and it's very difficult to actually choose just one favourite :)

Ilya Gulenkov IMO. She wouldnt have been able to belt the powerful C5s in this the way she does in 2017 in 2016, she couldnt even belt a Bb4 it was so raspy. I would love to see her re-attempt “With One More Look At You// Are You Watching Me Now” she could slay it now. Here, live she is very.... sassy and assertive with the way she sings it. In the album its very “oh please dont leave me crying“ live its very “ *OH I DONT THINK SO YOURE STAYING RIGHT HERE* ” haha
