And for the first time this season, the Texans are mostly healthy. We're literally healthier going into the second round of the playoffs than we were in the first regular season game, as Baltimore will soon find out. For once in like, ever, things are finally starting to break the Texans' way. Don't worry too much. You guys have a great coach, a (normally) stifling defense, and will probably have a lot more players wanting to go there in free agency than normal. And that's _with_ all the baggage from the Watson trade still going on until after this year's draft. You'll be back in the playoffs soon enough.

@ThatBoyFrosty25 As a Texans fan, I'm worried about the Browns a lot. If ya'll get the qb situation taken care of; meaning, just having a quarterback that plays consistently between competent to good, then ya'll will be terrifying. Ya'll messed up and underestimated us because of our first game. I doubt you'll do it again. From now on, ya'll will probably be a bigger threat and obstacle to us reaching the super bowl than the Bingles. Not just because of your players but for the coaching as well.

I’ll give Stroud his flowers, but NO ONE should overlook the job their OC and play-caller is doing… They have designed and created countless wide open looks for that offense, made a star out of Nico Collins, revived that run-game enough to make the play-action a threat, and have optimized CJ Stroud’s rookie capabilities. Kudos to the offensive staff for all that hard work and success. As a Colts fan, I am certainly more afraid of HOU now than JAX, and certainly TENN.

Whom would've thought a Buckeye QB and a Wideout Wolverine would have this much success. Lamar and Ravens might have a run for their money. Stroud might make Lamar 1-4 in the postseason. Stroud has proven his skills. This might be a Texas showdown in Las Vegas.

I think that these Texans actually could go all the way and win the Super Bowl. Prior to the turn of the century, it was pretty much an unwritten rule that wildcard teams have no chance to win the Super Bowl, but something changed over the past two decades+. Ever since then, we've seen quite a few SBs won by won by wildcard squads. It's no longer guaranteed that either the team with the best regular season W-L record or one that has one of the best such records. It's the team that's the healthiest (re. their starters) and is playing hot late in the season. Just look at the Eli-QB'd and Coughlin-coached G-Men who upset the Patriots the same season that the latter had been, 'til then, undefeated as but one example

@Bullboy_Adventures : ...especially given that earlier this season, before Stroud caught fire, they were playing like the same old basement-dweller to mediocre Texans -- Stroud is actually single-handedly making them serious contenders. I'm not guaranteeing that they'll make it all the way to the Super Bowl, let alone win it, but I definitely don't think that it's as much of a hot take at this juncture to speculate on the possibility as it would've been early-on to mid-way thru the regular season

@shruggzdastr8-facedclown fully agree with this take. However, just to clarify, the Texans are not a Wild Card team. It feels that way considering their status as an upstart squad 1 year removed from the tire fire that Bill O Brien left behind, as well as the fact that they never held a division lead for even a single minute this season until the very last tick of the clock ran out... But that being said, they did end up winning the AFC South.

Cj Stroud is doin the same shit deshaun Watson did when he was young. It's sad to see young talent that will never take it the distance. Smh

This would be true if He and his team can beat the Ravens or even come close. He isn't ridiculously good going against the browns and Couch sitting Flacco!

I just hate this QB for some reason. It was probably because of the broncos game.

Ridiculous because his dad has experienced systemic racism. All his dad did was sexually assault women and commit armed robberies, but yeah he's the real victim per CJ stroud.

Whats absolutely crazy to me is how Shroud and Love had the exact same stats in their first playoff game

Stroud has been historic. Three QBs in the last 50 seasons have led the NFL in Pass YPG and Pass TD/INT ratio in a single year: 1989 Joe Montana 2007 Tom Brady 2023 C.J. Stroud - @NFLonCBS
