菜脯碗仔粿 Savoury Rice Pudding

Ingredients
150g rice flour (粘米粉)
20g tapioca flour (木薯粉)
1/2 tsp salt (盐)
2 tbsp oil (食油)
300 ml water(清水)
25g wheat starch(澄面粉)
450ml water(清水)
Filling :
250g sweet dried radish(甜菜脯碎)
4 tbsp oil(食油)
1 tbsp chopped garlic (蒜茸)
1 tsp black soy sauce (黑酱油)
1 tsp pepper (胡椒粉)
2 tbsp sugar(砂糖)
100ml water (水)

I have made chwee kueh several times before but felt the texture is not how I remembered it to be when I ate them when I was young. Two days ago I try out your recipe . Bingo thats the exact texture that I was looking for. In other recipes that I have tried what was missing was the tapioca flour . I will follow your recipe whenever I make again . Can use cornflour instead of tapioca flour ?
Additionally add in dried shrimps I think taste will be great too. For vegetarian or vegan just go for original version.
