Well, after hearing Kathy's comments, I feel like I too am at high risk for ongoing c-diff occurances. Yesterday, I began my 4th c-diff round, since 5/08/2024. Just 6 1/2 weeks ago and 4 re-occurances. I have been on the low fodmap diet for 10 days now. The bloating did seem to subside the first 4-5 days, but is back. I don't want to go see a specialist. I think I would be happy to be on a medicine for this, and not go into a Dr. where I feel I will have to argue I don't have IBS or somesuch thing. I know this is c-diff and I got it after an antibiotic for very bad sinus infection on 4/28/2024. I did stop the antibiotic when this c-diff began, as I was having blood in stools, and all the rest. I was afraid of that. So now I am so tired of reading and listening to information on the internet, and feel exhausted, and tired. I know my situation my seem a light case, but it bothers me that it continues? Any advice, thank you if you do send a word.

I had never heards of this c-diff, and the urgent care Dr did not even tell me of the side effect from an antibiotic. When I started having severe diarrhea and cramps, etc. I talked to my daughter who is an RN and she advised me that I probably had c-diff. I was then tested with stool sample and there was the sad news that I had c-diff. Help this is to follow the above response I did.
