I mean, this episode was filmed back in late 2020 during their Eyes Wide Open/I Can't Stop Me era. Notice how Jeongyeon isn't here, since she was on her first hiatus. In 2020, JYP wasn't entertaining solos or subunits yet.

@@markjpascual I know, I watched this Radio Star episode immediately when the fansubs available back then, I'm just saying that as a comparison to what they said back then and what currently is going on, they said they don't have any plan back then, but now we got 2 solo and 1 unit

its alot more accepted to clean ears in asian cultures while in western cultures, they dont do it as much or outright tell you not to do itl, especially in the US. also its not earWAX in asian cultures, more like eardust. my ears never get waxy or gummy. just more like dried skin. cleaning them something my mom will do for you a lot as a kid. jihyo even mentions it reminds her of her mom when sana does it.

In 2020 during I can't stop me era, Jeongyeon went on haitus because of some health issues. She had side effects of medicines. That's why she couldn't perform at any ICSM comeback stage and couldn't attend any variety show for their song's promotion.
