C&C Shockwave is one of the best and the highest quality mods released for the Command & Conquer Generals Zero Hour. Mod introduces a lot of new changes, over hundred of new and redesigned units for all sides, dozens of new upgrades for them, 3 completely new and unique generals, new maps to play and other graphical/sound additions. It's real must play if you own C&C Generals Zero Hour. Currently mod is discontinued in favour of Rise Of The Reds, but I really hope they will come back to Shockwave :)
"C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour.
The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.
ShockWave will include 3 new Generals in version 0.95, over 100 new units, tons of new structures, upgrades, maps and many other gameplay tweaks. ShockWave also provides completely custom made sound effects and music, new in-game weapon effects and visuals, bug fixes, and an improved battlefield overview with a higher viewpoint.
The 3 new generals - Deathstrike, Ironside and Leang will get their own general's challenge maps, and we will implement their voices, taunts and personality as EA intended sometime after version 1.1.
ShockWave runs closed and open beta versions, and we strive to preserve balance between all the different factions to make sure the game is equally enjoyable online and offline. Bug hunting is top priority for us as well, and ShockWave is one of the most stable mods out for Zero Hour. Even so, Shockwave 1.0 has just been released, and could still have some bugs that need working out.

Why didnt you capture the hospital
you should have captured gla supply centor first. even airstrike provided hint for it.. although it was optional step

The Airstrike would of destroyed it anyway, the Airstrikes are fixed on all the positions of the main buildings, meaning he would of had to stall until the supplies were empty before destroying the other GLA buildings, but there were none, so capturing it would automatically cause the airstrike to be inbound and destroy it. There was absolutely no use in doing so.

Probably because the winning condition is set only to destroy. He didn't capture any GLA buildings, and the Airstrike would of destroyed it anyway. What we should be asking ourselves is why he didn't capture the Hospital.
The Siege Soldier voice quotes is a modified Battlemaster Tank quotes but with a different accent.

There is no good training , may be inhancement for this by building a program for the field general to help player general , advicing may be Managing fire power Managing hirarchies Managing fighting formation
whenever I try to download the custom maps, it says that it couldn't determine my ip address

Standing on united toughness_- (obedience and relationship)is well demonstrated (service fighters like the Constables) {reason versus cause}. Surely, the invincibility proves the BETTERMENT OF THE Repulsing Forces.
I forgot where to place the maps in my folders, can you remind me where I have to place them again?

You must place them in Maps folder inside your My Documents/C&C Generals Zero Hour path

love the work you do, any way you can make a video to show how to install custom maps/missions, I love this game but I can't get any new maps or mission packs to work, most guides just say put in map folders but that does not work for me. I have zero hour the ultimate collection from origin as I lost original disk and I use windows 7

+nobody1322 You must place each map in a specified folder in your Documents /Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour Data/Maps/ directory. Then in the game, take skirmish and choose UNOFFICIAL MAPS.

hi, when I go to documents/command and conquer generals zero hour do I place the maps in there, or in the maps folder that is inside the /documents/zero hour directory there is also a folder in there called map previews

Very inaccurate why would China care about a fight between Israel and Syria? In this case a faction of the USA as they most closely resemble that then the other factions.

Palmerrip China is supposed to resemble Syria because Syria has almost exactly the same unit as China the Battle Master tanks resemble the t-55 and the t54 which were used in the Yom Kippur war between Israel and Syria also Mig Fighters were used by both China and Syria

It's actually GLA vs the civilised world. Israel is hardly as involved as the USA and China, sheerly due to size, in the war against the GLA, which is basically any and all Islamic terrorists. It's possibly the "useful" air strikes that come in and destroy your tech buildings are Israeli... It's hard to watch this guy play and not be capturing their buildings. How do I get this working on Windows 10 so I can do it properly?

Dude, ffs. You ruined it by not capturing that GLA supply depot at 8:55... you would have had GLA technology, all their units and a command centre to start using your general powers.

Yes they do, but they're still quite effective ingame, and devious.

China against gla ? ... in syria !!!? Man golan is occupied by israel , why would china make a war against israel ? And syria in a fucking civial war they cant even take their occupied lands from isis , this game make no sense at all ...
