Allies are not GDI. Their tactics and aesthetics are almost the same as Nod. GDI is a bruiser faction that relies on heavy armor, same as the Soviets. Allies are a futuristic faction that relies on tricks, same as Nod. Kane being in Red Alert 1 was more of a joke than anything else. The only similarity between GDI and the Allies is that both originate from the UN organization.

I am an old command and conquer player, and although I have not played this mod, I want to say a few words in defense of the author, since people make false accusations. Kodiak is from Command & Conquer 4, the game MADE BY EA LOS ANGELES. Science mod author does not own any copyrights to Kodiak. Stop blaming the New World author for stealing the unit from Science. The unit was made by EA and they both took this unit from EA. The author is not to blame for the fact that you did not play this game and do not check the information before writing such nonsense. Edit: same with MARV from Command & Conquer 3. Modders use assets made by EA from other C&c games and this is OK. Let's support them instead of blaming them.
