Yes, if they remaster the game they could actually make it look even better than this and maybe bring out some balancing fixes. But we can only dream.

The thing is, we have as much gaming community to "thank" for that as big publishers....keep in mind that RTS genre even during its golden days werent as popular as some other genres, but then later on gamers and especially younger generations abandoned RTS games for MOBAs other genres. Im not saying that big publishers arent to blame as well, we all know for example how badly EA fucked up C&C4 and what Blizzard fucked up with Warcraft III: Reforged, but the problem is that since RTS franchise is fairly limited to PC and even among PC comminity its not as popular as most other genres, thats why we dont see them as much anymore. RTS genre has extremely loyal/passionate base of gamers, but its too small for big publishers who think only how they are able to make as much money as possible.

Same here, man, I loved the nuke, despite me being more of a USA Super Weapons and GLA Toxin/Demo type of player. I used go for the Super Weapons general mainly because of the Alpha Aurora (I still LOVE that explosive blast to this day!), and because General Alexander is beautiful haha. The memories!

I missed this before DOTA.. this was the best game I ever had. unlimited units and resources coz' it depends on how you arranged of the base. unlike Starcraft only 200-300 units hehe.. Such an old gold days..

Miss this game..

If you select your factory and right click a unit or structure, will the new units produced go to said object and defend it? Eight minutes into game play and it looks good to me. That means you seem to being a good job so far! Good luck and happy gaming. I have been trying to get EA to redo Generals Zero Hour with a more modern game engine and graphics. There are millions of people who play this game (many in China), and this game would without any doubt do better with a total remake than the ones they did. Reason: much higher replay potential.

To install this mod I’m assuming I have to have the old c&c and red alert 3 downloaded? Sorry, I have the old c&c the first decade bundle of a lot of their games in cds. Used to play when I was younger. Not sure how this mod stuff works.

Wow most of this looks fantastic. But does construction happen without dozers? Also the airfields look terrible and it's a big letdown to see the planes turn into Vtol.

Hey, Jørn. Yep, the construction happens without dozers, and that may or may not change. Regarding the aircraft’s take off and landing animations, it will change, if I remember correctly. This is a beta version, so, there’s a lot more to come, including improvements and new stuff. 🙂

Don't know what to think about it. It seems like halfway between recreation and making own thing based on earlyer C&C titles. If it meant as recreation of Generals then also it looks like really early in implementing core mechanics, it takes best optimised engine and best minimap in the franchise wich I like a lot.

RA 3 have one disadvantage: skirmish mod have max 6 players) I don't like original RA 3 style, but this mod are perfect

Hello, JCSen. Not possible, unless you modify the mod's files, which is something I wouldn't recommend doing. What you can do is mute the in-game music and run the Contra OST in the background.
