Still remember they do their own things in room 😂😂kei keep practicing singing,,,mijoo studied english in small room😅😅 their character match,,,kei have so many dolls,,mijoo keep threated kei to throw out kei's doll because used so much space 😂😂

I've only dived into Kpop for about 2 years now. I know Mijoo from her reality show and youtube content but haven't gotten into Lovelyz yet. But after this interview I will definitely start getting to know them, the a capella so good and their chemistry is so fun.

Interesting group. Above average vocals and sang well live. Look up their Always 2 concert. It's great and they used a live band. GFriend (2015), Lovelyz (2015), Oh My Girl (2014) are pretty similar. GFriend did pretty well and the girls were making money after a few years. I don't think Lovelyz made much, but probably got paid a little bit. Pandemic hurt them. They likely would have done a few international tours. Oh My Girl pushed way harder on touring earlier and had a bit of resurgence the last few years.

@@HKim0072 Lovelyz and GFriend were both screwed over by their companies wanting to focus on new girl groups, both were money/ hit makers but not big enough for their companies, GFriend had no Idea of their disbandment and were very surprised by it, Lovelyz were given such a bad offer for contract renewal all but one member left Woolim entertainment and whilst they haven't officially disbanded there's no real activity as a group since, apart from occasional tv appearances

@@andreww2098 My first job out of college was for a large Fortune 500 corporation. Was just an entry level job, but one thing I know for sure. Companies don't walk away from money if they are doing well. The reality is most groups even successful ones will fade over time. Look at SNSD. Their album sales really faltered toward the end of their contract. Taeyeon stayed very relevant. Just comes down to the Kpop business model and limited resources by a company. Likely, it doesn't make sense to keep sinking money into a lesser return. Some groups / companies like Apink will keep on chugging, but they scale back the amount of resources they invest. Kpop groups are a young person's game. Very few groups like Brown Eye Girls or Apink.

Lovelyz is my first ever kpop group that I stanned, so great to see them again like this Hope Jin could join them again one day

Lovelyz was such a wonderful group, and the members are still so good together. This video had a great atmosphere.

Base on your opinion 😂 but not stated in any billboard or album sales facts. If they were big they wouldn’t disband. Even though i like them cause i still search for mijoo content and kei was recently competiting in queendom puzzle and made it in at the final episodes but to say they are the best is just funny

​@@huyquoctran2088yes i know that they are not so famous and also they are not charting in some billboards and theres album sales is not that high.. but u can't deny they are one of the best gg of 3rd gen.. in terms of vocals.. they can sing live and dancing.. that 4th and 5th gen gg that dont have maybe are some .. i know they are not popular internationally but they have still solid fanbase in korea and they have iconic songs that koreans still remember them like ACHOO

7/8 of them didn't renew contract back in 2021, but they didn't actually disband. They recently reunited in this show for a festival and their 10th anniversary.

Not important enough...? I highly doubt that. Kei isn't like that. It seems more likely to me that she only mentioned Notre-Dame de Paris because El7z Up isn't active right now and her musical is what she's currently busy with in real time. It also might have been a bit awkward to mention her other group when the purpose of this episode was to highlight Lovelyz and their reunion after so many years. 😅

Geez, I can barely recognize some of them. Kei, Jisoo and Mijoo are obvious.

I honestly have not seen, followed or known much about Lovelyz, but I just wanna say that Kei has the best uh Oppaya clip in those Weekly Idol days with Doni and Coni. She's just very pure.
