Soyeon for me is one the most misunderstood Kpop idol around. No matter what she's a talented multitasking young lady who is an excellent leader and has great creative vision. Being an introvert is ok, Soyeon. Take it slow plus she can learn a thing or two from Yuqi.

But if u get through the whole show without beeing recognized, U win the Show... So the panel of guest don't actually have any say really on who wins or loses? The live audience votes for their favorite singer and then the scores are somehow calculated in the rounds they win and compared. Its all based on votes from the live audience. They win by continuing to get the most votes and the King/Queen battles all the upcoming new singers. the longest running king has won 9 consecutive rounds, and by that point most people already know who the singer is. At least to my knowledge of how the show works. @@Kazunan7

I've only listened to Soyeon rap before and hearing her sing was just as amazing!!! Her tone is so wonderfully unique and I hope to hear her sing more in the future too!! Thanks for always producing iconic songs!

She has some singing lines in their latest song "I Do" if you haven't heard that yet, including in the chorus! She also gets at least some lines in their slower more sentimental b side songs, like Polaroid, Reset, Escape, etc. Not a lot of lines sadly, but there's some there!

Listen to the backstage production videos when she guides other girls on how to sing their parts. She not only delivers the lines perfectly, she can also imitate each girl's voice very close. It makes it seem like she can perfectly sing the whole song alone, but she chooses to be in a group and let each other girl to shine in their parts.

Soyeon’s voice as distinct as Bom’s. There’s no mistaking it as long as you’ve heard it before. And I bet the nasally tone and huskiness + vibrato that Soyeon and Bom share prodded Dara’s heart. But you can also hear Soyeon’s ability to mimic others’ voices in it as she plays on the other 2ne1’s original singing voices too. Such a dynamic vocalist.

Soyeons voice is so versatile and unique i love it so much!

The best thing about this is when they sang 2ne1's song and Dara sing along with her happy & proud expression...

No matter what anyone says, Soyeon's voice is distinct and she's very good at singing aside from her talent in dancing, rapping and her wits in song writing and composition. One of the true aces in Kpop

I am a huge fan of Soyeon since I saw KDA Pop/Stars and have been a fan of I-DLE since. To me, she is like the female version of the KPop world in that her distinct voice and style are immediately noticeable.
