The right mindset is so important. You're not just jeopardising your own career, you're risking the entire group. I actually think that's how BTS worked. Hardship after hardship, scandal after scandal, and fight after fight, they remained together. Every group will fight but if you can convince each other that you deserve to be there, it makes everyone want to work harder. But the wrong mindset will make your members doubt you. I honestly think that is the real glue that held them together. Even J-Hope their most carefree looking member looks dead serious during practice. It's not personality, it's mindset.

Imagine being assessed by the Queen of idol survival shows, one of the best producer-songwriter-performers in the whole industry, and leader of one of the biggest GGs around today.

It's not a surprised that soyeon did well in both mtg and fb as a mentor. She's in charge of idle, plus if you've seen her in produce 101 and upr3, she really knows what she's doing despite of being a trainee. P101, she wrote every rap part (tho no one asked her to write). During UPR3, she also do the planning in every performance, you will see her giving inputs and even assessing the stage. Queendom is another example, just watch the behind of every performance so you will understand. Mtg just showed how good she is, during the first mission if you watch the rehearsal of both team. Grade 4 rehearsal wasn't that good because they saw grade 3 rehearsal (although soyeon attended grade4 practice and polish everything). Grade 4 wasn't confident after watching grade 3 rehearsal, soyeon was planning on the spot how to beat the grade 3. And even during Ace mission, she's good on giving advice.

It's crazy to me. She praises a lot of these kids and congratulates them on working hard and getting better, But noooo.... let's focus on the guys that did shitty and she pointed it out. What did they expect? Let's pretend they didn't do shitty?

Soyeon is my ideal type of judge, teacher, and mentor. I'm impressed by her tough stance in pushing the contestant to the max with her harsh but constructive criticism. She's my superwoman.

tbh if i were one of the judges for the show, i’d most likely pull out from the show. The amount of disrespect they gave is… wow. Like you can giggle thinking your mistake was funny? dude. Some of the boys here (and boys planet) seems like they only enter for funsies when there’s so many other trainees that are desperate for the place.

i really like this show's approach..it is definitely helping us learn some techniques and also seeing them working their weakness is also a good thing to observe

she is the female gd/cl of this generation total package with style and trending effect on others lifes

While it IS important to enjoy what you do, people need to remember this isn't a troll group. It's serious business. Not all about fun. Plus, I feel like it's easier for males to take for granted the seriousness of a female coach, especially when they're young and cute like Soyeon. So she HAS to be a bit harsh when they seem to be taking the test for a joke.

Soyeon is so nice, if I were her. That kid that always talk back will get excuse right away

She is a true professional, she says what is necessary for them to understand in the best way and takes her work seriously.❤❤
