Daesung is still himself and we love it. It was such a shame YG never allowed him to pursue variety shows because he literally used to boost the rating whenever he appeared. It was literally called the Big Bang effect. A show would peak every time they performed or even appeared on music shows, award shows or variety shows. It was so rare the nation would go on alert when they did appear.

Please do your research and don't make wrong conclusion. YG never stopped him from going to variety show. It was his decision after his taxi scandal. He was blamed for it, even tho it's not his fault, and people start boycott him and talk shit about him. Even bring up his parents and how they raised him. This is why Daesung left Family Outing, because of this incident. He ofc go to variety shows with Bigbang for promotion but he didn't became regular member. That scandal, plus other scandals surrounding BigBang members. Despite BigBang'a popularity, their image isn't great in SK. I just hope his new show won't get affected with GD's recent drug scandal. I'd hate to see Daesung being dragged because of it.

Then the police confirmed they're booking GD for investigation related to the actor's drug scandal. It's everywhere on Kpop news, you should be able to check em out. The video/episode if Daesung appearance on Hangout with Yoo had been taken down atm because of GD's scandal 😔 People also started digging and talking about Daesung's real estate "scandal" while he was in military. Again, it's not his fault and he was proven innocent. But netizens keep bringing it up. Just when Daesung FINALLY able to open up again and appear on public. Gosh, what a bad timing.

God I missed him. He looks good. Such pretty hair. I really hope he can put out music and find a good variety show to stay in for awhile. The experience he has in the industry is too massive for him not to stay in front of a camera. He really looks good.

Daesung has always been my favorite idol. My first K-pop group was Bigbang and Daesung was my bias. Love his personality. I hope everything works out for him.

Family Outing was the best show ever. I live in NYC. Me and my Mom would rewatch the episodes in order every weekend. I miss this show. Jae Suk is not just the Nation's MC. He is truly a person treasured all over the world. Daesung will always be my first bias.

I always thought that if Korean variety shows held the same weight as K-Pop did in peoples' minds, Yoo Jae Suk would be more revered than even the most popular K-Pop idols.

Daesung has always been funny even Bigbang was active. I'm glad they invited him on this show. I am actually getting emotional rn because I really miss the time when they are just casually mentioning BB. Since he and YJS have an amazing chemistry, I am hoping we can see him on Runningman as a guest

I think YJS did. This episode iirc is for them to find a lead vocalist, & YJS mentioned he knew just the right person for this. After all, who better to hard carry as vocalist while also being a natural entertainer than this man right here 😂

This was their first broadcast together in 13 years but they make it clear that they have seen each other numerous times over the years, incl when Daesung was in the military and when he was reviewing his contract with his new agency. How heartwarming!

@@catherineta I was about to say, I know I backlogged a lot of Running Man, Infinite Challenge, and Happy Together when I first started binging variety shows back in 2016/17 but I swear Big Bang had been in more recent broadcasts on those shows way past 2010. I literally got into kpop and korean variety shows because of Big Bang's early guest appearance on Running Man when they came in from those helicopters.

Man lights up any room he walks into such a ball of sunshine Daesung is a natural entertainer built for variety show missed you so muchhhhh

Daesung doesn’t even need a script, his charming and funny personality is all he need. As Jaesuk said, his true self. Hope he stays in the show!

Daesung didnt even aged at all. He still looks like 25yrs old

His manager once told that he spends all his time at home whenever he hadn’t been in studio. no social connected, just at home with lego🥹 and now he’s more open, he has social media and go out sometimes😭 I’m so happy for u, daesung!

He's made a comeback in Japan starting off with the Waterbomb Festival in Aug as main event. There are lots of fancams of him uploaded. Then he had his DNA show Vol 2 just very recently. His Facebook page and youtube D-lable (Daesung) had lots of vids fr his recent activities including behind the scenes

I loved Jaesuk and Daesung duo since watching Family Outing. They were so funny, they have great chemistry together. I can't believe K netizens, have an issue still with Daesung. I don't remember none of them complaining when he was singing, and had number one album and songs all over the charts. Now, they want to try to have a complaint. Let the man be, he hasn't done anything wrong.
