At first, I don't understand why they sent her to attend this army training. Now, I understand. Lisa took part of this actually trained her to be someone who is mentally and physically strong. It's worth because I can see the consistency that Lisa shown in each concert tour. Despite being injured, Lisa still shows her very best. Once light off, she just a human who feel the pain and cried. When Lisa feels that she cannot force herself, she changes her routine but still, her energy is top tier. I need red bull too Lisa 😅

it is not the reason. she wanted to be a Korean Citizen. to be Korean you must serve into army. because Korea is still in war against North Korea. So every Citizen in Korea, woman or men, old or young, must be able to fight if North Korea invaded South Korea. It is why every Citizen in South Korea must have a military training once. you can't be Korean Citizen if you never did this military training.

My Korean friends explained much better, even give us example even showed how the process works for Korean people. Lisa did for tv program. Nothing related she wants to be Korean citizen or what. Here’s one reason I can think of. As the main dancer, it takes lots and lots of stamina and strength, and YG thought this training would help prepare Lisa for it.

The fact that Lisa is the main dancer of BLACKPINK doesn't justify her participation in this show, which focuses on military training experiences. Not sure if people quite get the nastiness and absurdity of it all. A Thai artist asked her company to be allowed to go to a dance show. Instead, they sent her to a Korean military propaganda show. She had to wear a Korean uniform, take part in their absurd trainings, including being exposed to a poisonous gas - for which she wasn't even given a properly fitted mask. All in the midst of heat wave. Almost as if her demented company HOPED she'd get injured or at least embarrass herself. And guess what. AntiLisa blinks and solo stans still claim Lisa's participation in this show proves she is YG's favourite, but when lilies told them, "By all means, let's have the KOREAN members of the group on that show," they seemed offended. LMAO

Twice's Dahyun and K-drama star Lee Si-young also participated in these military TV programs (Si-young's was in the ROK Navy). Lisa did a good job and I love how Jisoo, or as Lisa calls her Jisoo Unnie, cared for her and made such a lovely letter that touched her heart to give her strength. I haven't seen these types of shows done lately. Maybe the agencies decided they didn't want to risk injury to their entertainers now.
