Well i think the Nod Commander went in first, and smashed up the place with a insurgent force and was then transfered back to Temple Prime. Then, the GDI Commander responded and proceeded to kick Nod out of DC, and the rest of B-2, to which he or she was shipped out to Africa. So as always with the eternal blood feuds that is GDI and Nod conflicts, Nod attacked, and GDI reacted.

Badlands either took place before or during Goddard, and I'm leaning during due to the GDI commander being informed about the destruction of Goddard after completing Badlands which implies, timeline wise, both missions were concurrent. "GDI gave Nod the excuse to begin an all-out assault." Not quite, remember Nod had forces all over the planet poised to strike Blue Zones, and GDI just so happened to stumble upon the force outside B-2(badlands). Also Kane was literally planning for this war for little over a decade(reference Kane's Wraith campaign), this war was happening regardless.

The music, the theme, the atmosphere, the world, the characters. All so so memorable and fun. It depresses me to no end that we haven't seen great games with this kind of feeling in a very long time.

I like how both nod and gdi stories happen at the same time From the attack on the Philadelphia to the siege and defense of temple prime

When I played I maxed out all ranks, in the first mission I maxed out all air units. Best RTS on Earth.

I remember playing this years ago, recently re-bought it and am loving the Kane's Wrath DLC, never got to play it back in the day.

My god that i loved the instructors computer's voice

C&C3 intro is so damn special. really grinded TS and FS. and after seven long years we finally got this intro and EVA says.... Welcome back, Commander.

Can't believe after 15 years the game still looks great, especially the 1080p cutscenes. 1080p was considered a very high resolution for that time.

Forgot how good the cut scenes and acting was in this series (previous games too). The story made these games repayable more than the gameplay for me

I just finished it on medium difficulty yesterday and it was a straight cunt of a mission ! Man ! This takes me back to Jr high days, slufing school to play Tiberian sun and red alert 2 ! I dominated those games always top 10. My nick was Aspdmouse and Faithbeme. Remembering always grinding but always screwed by Botess and a few others.

You can SELL WALLS on the Croatia mission??!! Would have been nice to know that, this mission was freakin hard!

Rewatching this makes me realize just how much influence C&C had on XCOM's brand of storytelling.

A risky but effective strategy for sure! Rushing MCV into the enemy base, love it

The Croatia mission used to fuck me up so hard the first time I played it, untill I figured out I could just put infantry platoons in bunkers where the anti-infantry turrets were, and keep them offline. That way I could keep the anti-air and anti-tank turrets online permanently.

rly annoying how in the game updates the blackhand and rocket squads get slightly op. Blackhand are a bit tanky while rocket squads have crazy range. Croatia made me rage quite a bit lol

Who told you that? Tiberium Wars always works well on Windows 10 without any problems. "Q" - select all combat units on the map "W" - select all on-screen units of a certain type Generals: "Q" - select all combat units on the screen "Double tap Q" - select all combat units on the map "W" - select all air combat units on the screen "Double tap W" - select all air combat units on the map

@Brother Malachai For most people, it works just fine on Windows 10. A few people have to set it for Compatibility Mode (Windows XP SP3). A few people have had to install the June 2010 DirectX redistributables package. (I didn't have to do either one; it worked perfectly with no extra work needed.) But if you *do* have either of those issues, once you've fixed it, it runs better than most of the other C&C games do. (Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert don't want to run at all without a fan-made patch; Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 don't like Alt-TAB, it crashes the game, but otherwise they work fine; Tiberium Wars and Red Alert 3 both work just fine, other than possibly the two issues I mentioned above.)

Still wish GDI can cleanse garrisons by Snipers and Zone Troopers, instead of Grenadiers.

A link to this video was mysteriously saved on my drive back in school and I'm still not quite sure why.

I've seen a few comments about "They just don't make games like this anymore" However, I'm not sure that's true. In terms of lore and worldbuilding, you can find plenty of games that match or even exceed this... Most of them tend to be of the open world genre. But that's what the genre is good for. There's also plenty of FPS games with deep lore (eg: Halo).

I can't believed Tiberium Wars can't be played in windows 10. Still trying to figure it out how to re adjust the resolution outside in the game.

Did you do this on patch 1.09? I am STRUGGLING with the ai just infinite spawning enemies if I try to make a move
