C-17 Globmaster Flyby over Angel Stadium of Anaheim 2012

Спорт

2012 MLB Opening Day (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim)
Angel Stadium - Anaheim, CA
Friday April 6, 2012
I shot this video with my old camera: Sony SR11. I used it from 2008 - 2010. I couldn't bring my new one into the stadium because it's too large.
In this video: You will here David Cook sing the National Anthem. You'll also see a C-17 Globemaster almost silence a crowd of over 42,000 people at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Southern California.

"Look how SLOW he's going" Dang right. An underappreciated form of showing off, especially that weight class. First time I saw C17 at an AF Open House I thought, 'Ho hum. A stubby C5". Then I watched the demo - jaw drop. Amazing plane.

+Ckc dillpickle Then you should know that the C17 isn't the second largest plane. He's right, the C-5 is the largest plane the US has, and the second largest in the world. The C17 doesn't even come in third. You're either simply mistaken or you get all your facts from garbage sources, my friend. By the way, the plane that takes the number 1 spot is the 'Antonov', it's Russian.

One of the most impressive things I've ever seen in my life is the C17 demo at an airshow in homestead air base.. that thing did a max power take off in a distance so small that it left everyone speechless.. not only that but the damn thing went nearly vertical and climbed so quick you would of thought it was the space shuttle.. then it landed in such a short distance with the reverse thrusters it was absolutely insane to see something that big pulling off those maneuvers.. to me the C17 stole the show from the Thunderbirds, the Mustang, the Corsair, the B2, the F15's, F18.. pretty much everything.

The Air Force is so damn good at hitting a moving target... The Star Spangle Banner is supposed to be like 1m10s to 1m25s long, but often times singers go way longer.. So they can guess at about what time they need to arrive, but they have to have it relayed to them so they can slow down or speed up accordingly.... AIR POWER!

Not a offensive tactical Plane people. I personally have been transported inside the belly of this enormous airplane. Myself and 257 combat personnel,Supplies and 2 vehicles. With all of that inside the cargo hold, still was only at 72% of maximum capacity. Telling you video absolutely doesn't really put into context just how huge this aircraft is in person. AND YES IT'S NOT DESIGNED FOR BOMB DROPS. All though it can carry 3 MOAB's and deliver them to target.

On the Anthem & why was it beautiful, I mentioned, simply cuz It was sung the way It shud, with dignity, honor & pride,w/o the kinda jazzy-jivy crap, that a slew of singers (even a good handful of White singers, nowadays also fancy doing likewise) so liked to sing It in the way how African-American peoples do It with much twisting on certain parts or words of this otherwise still an enduring wonderful song.
