I am actually positively surprised by Wargaming's presentation of this tank. It's more honest and player-oriented, actually not presenting tank like best one in the game and talking about its weaknesses. Plus it has proper weakspots.

If you compare this one with the e75 and 50tp it falls right in the middle in terms of gun handling but makes up with better mobility at the cost of armor. I would not call it bad. Just balanced. Its just another Lorr 50t situation where the tank simply should not rely on its hull armor. We should also never forget that we are playing with 520 alpha here. So we should not expect perfect gunhanding from it.

For how shitty armor is, the gun handling should be E75 like and even better, It's also a reward tank soo let's be real, you'd expect it to be a bit better but It's actually worse and that is the problem.

26:13receive hit for 552HP( initial roll exclude the fire) and do 552HP in return to WZ, that's some amazing coincidental RNG.

Hey Skill, I love your videos. Could you make a tutorial about shell types vs armor including overmatch mechanism etc? You mentioned HEAT will penetrate you, but why? For me it is hard to understand the mechanism. Also, I could not figure out which shell types are going through fences/light walls and still hit enemy, and which are not

You can google WOT Guru Shell Mechanics and Shell Types until Skill4ltu has made a video. Keep in mind anything starting with AP will go through objects while anything starting with HE will explode on first collision. Penetration of APCR goes down the farer the shell travels but APCR is the fastest shell type. HEAT will be much slower but provides highest penetration and does not loose pen over distance. Penetration of AP goes down as well over distance but not as much as APCR, its mostly faster than HEAT but slower than APCR its additionally mostly the cheap standard round. Overmatching means no matter what angle you hit its autopen as long as your caliber is greater than 3x nominal armor thickness you will penetrate, meaning roof or engine deck of tank is 30 mm anything greater 90mm gun will auto pen even if you just touch it in very flat angle. For normalization and spaced armor please read the proposed guide too much to type on my phone 😂

There's already a shell type video from Wargaming that explains why. It's outdated when it talks about the HE shell but all the others are spot on.

It looks like the tier 7 hull really holds this tank back, and it doesn't even get the rockets like the tier 7 gets

Haven't played this game in a while, but I still watch Skill.

I like how the tank goes from 1 MoE to 3 over the course of the video.

No competition with E-75 other than its a reward tank.

This seems to be a platoon vehicle where you have people to support you or for 3 of them to just delete 1500 hp off a tank quickly.

Hi dear Skill... When ever in 'one on one situatuion' someone sidescräpes or wigle their turret and move their tank back and fort like some little children do when they rock their head, I just wait and fire when it fails... may take some time, but always as hilarious as ever... :)... Especially in very short ranges and while wigling they often expose their drive wheel and it's good night for them:P

That first pause and laugh was priceless 😅

I like that wargaming is teaching players how to play heavy tanks. This video is for all the players who maybe don't even watch any streams. So teaching how to play a heavy tank in an official video is a great tactic.

"Is a...comfortable tank that doesn't claim to be the best..." = It is a pile of shait in Wargammingnese.

On the NA server you will find these tanks always in the TD positions because everyone plays like they are in a TD even when they are not.

NA issue.

It doesn't mention that its got a permanent repair kit (with extra 5% to repair speed) like the other tier 9 reward tanks.

What I got just from the promo - kaku pen, kaku dispersion, and it burns from front as well. Well, at least I'm getting the unvarnished truth.

judging by the video...if you don't have a good crew, good equipment, you can't use this tank and its biggest advantage in my opinion, which is SPEED! the bottom plate is larger, but many forget that 1.20.1 brings moving pieces of concrete as blockers and similar things... you should definitely try it, give it a chance!

Hey Skill, but how is the rating when you compare BZ-58-2 with his brethren also available for BP tokens? Is it better than Obj777-II to name one.

It's good to also have average tanks in the game that won't promote a toxic playstyle. So would you prefer Lorraine 50t before BZ-58-2?

Hi Skill, thanks for the review. Now I know this tank is not for me, will spend my tokens on something better instead. One more thing, since this tank seems to be a photocopy Polish tier 9 50TP heavy tank, it would be nice to know how this tank stacks up against its Polish inspiration!

BZ has slightly worse alpha with slightly better gun handling, slightly faster, with 100 less HP and a good amount worse hull armor. Pretty balanced trade offs imo

If it was a premium, it would have no weakspots in fronts, 10kph higher top speed, better stats over all.

Spall-liner, the most underrated improvement in the game. You become the craziest ram-mothertrucker in the world of tanks. 3 players in a squad, with spall liners and no respect for human life can punch through the frontline before the italian medium have reloaded their 2nd clip. Its freaking awesome. But it needs aggressive plays and a team to back it up. Preferably a team that ALL use spall liners.

WG learnt from their mistake to release good bp tanks in the 1st season so that would never happen again XD.

So let me get this one straight: This is a heavy tank, from the BZ line of china, which is a line of heavy tanks WITH boosters, but somehow this one doesn't have boosters. Instead TT-130 czech heavy has them. What went wrong WG ?

did u notice that during the WG video the tank gets more and more stars on its gun...its like during the video you see how the tank gets 3rd mark

I think it's hard to compare, since they seem to have different playstyle, so more of a personal preference.

This tank od not the same bz like VIII Tier didnt have rocket booster back..

The game does need faster heavy tanks.. since new meta is speed.. yah that armor.. It could be German.. 😊 maybe play sniper snitzel to find its strength...

Apart from having the cobra already, from the stats of the BZ alone, the cobra is much better and more fun too

You are too harsh about hull armour imho, most of the tier IX HT's hull armour looks like this with just few exeptions, for example there is still Mauschen and Type 4 Heavy whose are being weakspot themselves xD This armour with this mobility is pretty much enough for me, but what's the most important the tank is balanced.

At least this tank should go not nerfed in next 5-10 years. :-)

Yeah, but it seems to me Skill just had prejudice, it doesn't look that horrible - sure, you have to take your time to aim, but when close it matters less and alpha is nice.

Imo just get the bonds, so u are 2.4k bonds closer to a decent/good bonds tank. Most likely they will sell this BZ again on next season battlepass but with reduced token price.
