In this fun chainmail class, instructor Colin Mahler teaches a variation on the classic Byzantine chain pattern. This design has you doubling all the rings, giving you a piece that has great movement and is still very elegantly weighty. These segments can be made into earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and pendant pieces. Grab your pliers, and let's get started! This class has a run time of 20 minutes. These rings are sterling silver. They are tumbled, which work hardens and polishes them.

I am not sure what your rings are made of. Most metals will tarnish over time. You can polish them with a pro polish or throw your pieces in the tumbler. As for prevention, you can take a look at this video. Link below www.beaducation.com/online_classes/231-metal-coatings-and-sealants-facebook-live-episode-27
Are you using swg or awg ring sizes?
