Thank you for sharing your heart, and we know GOD goes before us, He is for us, we can rest knowing He loves us, we are comforted knowing this. Thankful for studies that show us His love for us. We must think on GOD's Word, and not allow our minds to mess with what we know is His plan. Thank you for working through this day in our study, it's good to see you again!

I’m glad you are able to do these Bible journaling videos again because I enjoy watching them. I understand your feeling of fear about your husband, but God will take care of you no matter what happens in this life. I’m praying that God will heal your husband and that you will be able to live in that peace that surpasses all understanding. God bless you.

Welcome back! It was so nice to see you here again sharing your art and heart. Praying for you and your family. It is so hard being on the sidelines as a wife and mother when your loved ones are going through their struggles. I understand your fear. I pray God's peace will wash over you. ❤

I have had that fear and it is awful. I do have to look above. We have the Lord to get us through unlike some. God has you in the palm of His hand Lindsey. Glad to hear your son is doing well. I will be praying for you. God's got it!

I can’t promise you won’t lose your family members, but I can promise our Lord will get you through whatever happens to you!!!! I died last year 6 times with a recurring cryptogenic stroke. I am cancer free after a ruptured colon, being cut in half, from major stage 4 colon cancer surgery. I have lost both parents, and my best friend and husband, and God’s love and patience with me lead me through it all! I know how you are feeling, and I will keep you in thoughts and prayers!!!! I am grateful that your son and husband are doing better!! AMEN!!!! Aaaaaaaaaa-Suuuuuummmmm video!!!!!!

I fell while running in 2003 (freak accident) and since then I have had 5 major surgeries on my neck and lower back. The first surgery I was less than an eighth of an inch from a severed spinal cord. I have severe chronic pain stemming from that and my neurosurgeon told me in 2017 that I could walk or I could work, but I could not do both. I loved my job, but I really like walking, too. 🤷🏻‍♀ So I retired. It has been a tough journey because I am not good at needing and accepting help. It makes me feel like such a burden. Nor do I want people to look at me in an "oh, you poor thing" way, so I do not generally tell people about my pain. It is a very humbling experience. But I know that one day I will be free of pain. It may only be after I have my new body in Heaven, but that is ok. I know that we live in a fallen world and one day we will be in a beautiful place with no pain and no injuries. I praise God for my salvation and the faith that He has given me to accept this and keep going. And that peace that passes all understanding is what gets me through so much. I have prayed for your family and will continue to do so. I hope you know how many people you inspire through your videos!

I felt the pain and struggle in my soul while reading this and lifted you up in prayer along with Lindsey. I've been struggling with decades of chronic pain along with so many major surgeries I've lost count, several health conditions that I've been battling since I was ten. There was a time that you think the doctors will eventually fix things and you'll have your life back but that isn't always the case and when I read of how you didn't want to feel like a burden I cried. I've been there still there and honestly I'm still there. 😂 I started the smiling and saying I'm doing good when asked at church as a teen because no one wants to truly hear how bad it is after all the prayers so you put on a front and try to survive. I just wanted you to know you aren't alone and if you ever need support there are a lot of Christian groups out there for chronic pain and Fibromyalgia etc. to talk and pray with who have been there and struggled with some of the same issues. I wish I could give you a group name but it's been years since I've been to them. But there was a couple of groups that got me through some very rough times when I didn't see the point of existing with so much pain. It can be very lonely when you hurt so much surrounded by people who love you but just have no idea what it takes to just get up every morning and to keep going. God is so good to provide people to encourage you when you need it most. I hope you search for them if you are ever in need. Prayers and virtual hugs. ❤😊

@@LindseyDecor Thank you. I have, but I am doing very well. There are so many people whose lives are so much worse, especially those who do not know Christ. I hope your son and husband are both doing well.

@@spktme I thank you for your prayers and for your words. I have been involved with several Facebook groups and they have helped a good deal. It really is good to talk to people who know what you are going through. 😊 I am very fortunate to have an extremely supportive husband who does so much for me. He loves to cook and is the one who cooks most of our meals. I could barely boil water when we married, and he taught me to cook, but he loves cooking. My sons and daughters-in-law are also a big part of my support system. The first time I went to a pain specialist, he asked my pain level - they had a pain scale chart with descriptors on it, not just faces. I said it's a 4, but according to that, it's an 8, but it's a 4. He said I've seen your medical records. It's an 8, not a 4, you would not be here for a 4. (8 is pain limits activity, nausea with pain). My husband's face was pure shock. The doctor asked, "Did you have any idea this is what she was living with?" He said "None. She rarely ever talks about her pain." No one really knows what it's like until they've lived it. I now live around a 6 (pain cannot be ignored at all) and a 7 (makes it hard to think and sleep) I do have some hours of 5 (too bad to ignore for long), but that is with a lot of pain meds and muscle relaxers. But my spirits are really good. I do not battle depression at all. I do what I can when I can and when I can't, I rest. I generally overdo things and have to take time to recuperate, but I am not going to let this get the better of me.😁God is in control, not my pain. I do hope for a cure, but I do not rest my happiness on it. I rest my happiness in Christ and the love of my family. Thank you for your very kind words and prayers. I prayed for you, as well!
