On GOLD: If the Russia/Ukraine war has informed anyone paying attention, it is that foreign currency reserves are at risk of being frozen, or worse, seized-they are no longer safe if geopolitical events create increased tensions between nations (or alliances). Gold prices are being driven up by nations seeking to back their national currencies by a tangible asset, not a foreign fiat such as the USD, where transactions can be blocked if that country falls afoul of US interests.

The sad truth is most capitalist see the unethical double standards and still charge ahead for the sake of profits. I’ve been dead set against investing in big oil and defense contractors doesn’t mean that when I see some of those stocks hit all time highs I don’t have second thoughts my strategy. 😅

As it stands, he pays no cost for his blatantly wrong claims but gets all the news/media attention when he makes these outlandish predictions. So he keeps doing it.
