Thank you. This worked perfectly and saved me a lot of potential hassle. My remote had quit working. I got home thanks to this video and I tried my backup remote and it worked just fine and when I used it, the other remote starting working again. I don’t know what caused the problem to begin with but it’s like it reset or something when I did that. Just FYI in case someone has a similar issue.

I'm Having so much trouble finding help online. I have a viper 350hv alarm in my car that was installed 10 years ago. There is no valet switch. I've taken apart my dash and pulled the unit out with most of the wiring harness. My old remote broke years ago and I'm trying to pair a new one, and I'm starting to think that's impossible...

Thank goodness I found this video. My main and back up key fob malfunctioned. I was short of ripping out the system under the hood and tried this. It worked! Too bad I annoyed my neighbors with the ear pitching sounds 🫢

My keys and remote were both stolen. If I get a new remote and get my backup key reprogrammed, would the thief be able to follow the steps in this video to disable my alarm? Or does the alarm system require a valid chip in the key that’s in the ignition to be able to stop the alarm and pair a new (or old) fob?

does this work for all viper models? it came with the used car i bought from the previous owner. I hate it honestly. Can anyone tell me if your key/doorlocks and ignition system also had to be changed when you got this viper system? the key i have does not look like a Toyota key, thats why I ask.

I just had a viper alarm installed last week been back to the shop twice because I was stranded at Walmart with the alarm going off they put in a module today and said it should disarm from the remote from now on it still has a problem ANY SUGGESTIONS? because the alarm arms and work just fine other than the disarming problem

It’s useless. Happened to me today. Took me an hour looking on KZread how to turn it off. Pure junk

if everyone knows it can be bypassed by valley button it would be easy to steal

So I had a backup remote I tried when I got home and it worked but not only that but it got my other remote to work too somehow and now it’s like there never was a problem. I had them together when I tried this.

So...will this work on my ugly ass acura integra r?

@@STEVEEDG no clue but I’m not sure if you want it disabled in case the remote fails like it did for me. Do NOT leave a set of keys in the car like some people like to do.

I think you can program the button to a particular number of times you push button so you have to know how many times to push it , default setting is just once
