    I’ve watched a number of videos and couldn’t get the hang of bypassing the damn thing even after all that. Your tip about the hooking motion, as well as giving my mini knife tool a bit of a curve were what made me able to do it for the first time. Now it’s literally a breeze!

    1 problem with this. The 175 you CAN do this. The 175D however has much tighter tolerances to prevent the decoder from being slipped between the lock body and the code wheel, and there are blocking plates under the bottom plate. I have the Brinks version of the 175 and the Master 175D. I can easily open the Brinks. The 175D I cannot get my decoder past the bottom plate due to the tolerances being too tight AND something blocking it internally
