Karangu Mungu akumbaliki ulifanya vizuri huyo Mzee akapata nyumba. hao wenye Wanafanya interview ata wao wamalisie mahali imebaki .

One problem I have noticed with Karangu is that he takes up multiple projects at the same time. Right now he has Mzee wa Baringo, Teresia’s family and Zakayo’s family in Laikipia, houses under construction. It’s a wierd way of doing things.He needs to learn from Jeremy Damaris or Ngugi wa Karanja. Finish one house, and hand it over before moving on to the next one.

Wandua and Cate you are doing a great job by following up on stories and individuals who would otherwise be easily forgotten in this fast paced world. Looking at the whole scenario i think Karangu did his best going by the amount that was initially collected. 300k is not a lot when it comes to construction of a house. Bylaw on his side has done his best to look for funds to continue with the construction. Having been involved in community work i can understand the dynamics of this kind of work and i must say Karangu has a big heart. The job is almost 80% done, I would urge both Karangu and bylaw to come together again and finish up the job and let everyone have a happy ending. Its doable.

Some of the vendors just want to advertise their products but they don’t deliver the products as promised.

If they changed the original plan definitely the cost will increase and the redoing of the roof is extra expense

But understand Mzee can't go to the outside pit latrine cause he is partially paralyzed. Again Mzee needs easy accessibility to his routine check up for his health condition which Kiria-ini Mission Hospital and Murang'a level five can't offer. It is nice to have this home for his final days but for now he needs to be here in Nairobi for those two reasons.

@@VeronicaDunbar To make the matters worse, he left it at the roofing stage and then comes later to take photos outside the house while still ignoring mzee's call making the social media believe the house has been completed through the energy he started with and again making us believe that Mzee does not want to stay there. It's a shame although I thank him for starting the initiative.
