Yeah, all that lovely particleboard subfloor that turns to mush when the polybutylene water pipes inevitably leak. As a plumber, I've done more plumbing repairs on those things than I care to think about. Once saw a toilet that was sunken into the floor a good four inches, due to a longtime wax seal leak. I just told the owner he needed a carpenter, not a plumber. Then again, maybe he needed an appointment with this dude's excavator.

Literally any house would do the same. Mobile homes are actually built to higher standards than most "regular" houses. I mean think about it. They have to be pulled down the highway to get to their destination. That's hurricane force winds there alone. The weakest point is where it connects to the ground. That's the only reason they're so dangerous in severe hurricanes and tornados. The whole structure will blow away before it actually falls apart.

What work for us is we tip the trailer over, toss all the blocks aside with the ex. pull the trailer over and flip onto its roof so its in its old foot print. grab the frame and shake it off as the floor boards are being held by all the walls inner walls, cabinets etc. put frame aside and then crunch the trailer in on its self. its like an open tin can and when you push it all in, next to no mess in the dirt. what was the tin roof is the botoom of a tin can lol. little hands on. all machine.

A co-workers husband used to do house demolition. He told me a story of one job in a slum neighborhood, late 60's. House was abandoned as it had been lived in, nothing taken out, he was ordered to remove it all. They prepped it, run a choker cable around it to break it up on it's foundation, shut down for lunch. Hour and a half later, they were back. Fired up the cat and started pulling cable, "two young kids, boy and girl, suddenly come running out, away into the back alley. neither one had a stitch on them. Damnedest thing I ever seen!" I wonder how they explained the loss of a full set of cloths to their Momma!

When I need to relax I come here and pick out one of your videos, then I just sit and watch in amazement at what a skilled operator you are Chris, and it doesn’t matter what video it is. I have recently retired after aver 40 years under a welding hood working on every kind of project, and equipment, you can imagine from the lower 48 to Alaska, and know and appreciate!, someone who is truly an expert in his field no matter what his chosen trade is, and That Would BE YOU! To watch how easily you operate and maneuver a piece of equipment to do just what you have in mind is almost poetic. Whether it is a skidsteer, a trackhoe or a dozer, you have just mastered them all. Oh how I wish you were closer so that we could have hired you to install our new 800 ft. driveway onto our 10 acres in North Idaho and prep the home site there. Thank You for all your wonderful videos. Hopefully some of the younger guys watching are learning from you and will carry it on. You’re the Best! Thanks

But you should’ve seen Chris pick it up with the bucket teeth. Such delicacy! 👌🏽

@@leonidandreev1171 Best part was he didn't even see it initially when doing the first walk around! Pointed the camera directly at it too! Wasn't until the walls were down did he notice it.

I helped a guy demo a mobile home, he got the backhoe bucket wrapped around the frame and we had to get a cutting torch to free the bucket, what a day, he didn't have your skill set

That's one of the nice things about the garbage facility near where I live... They'll take mixed construction trash and sort it out.

No toys ... lol. I wonder if the owners were to put up a sign 1 week before the demo and said "Free Windows", would they be taken? The other houses on the street look scared ...

I was flown to Indiana to demo 12 single wides like this back in Auguat. But all I had was a 50g to demo them with.. All there other equipment was rented.. Sure was a blast though. Took me 7 Days total.
