The show me scene definitely has those connotations. Christine is basically performing a striptease for Arnie when she repairs herself. The sultry music is kind of the giveaway.

In the book it was not a bulldozer it was a pink porterpoty truck

I'm still alive then and now! Christine is along gone

Imagine the sequel or reboot of Christine, some the crew had a long discuss what Christine look like. Maybe muscle car and sports car that look similar to Plymouth fury.

@@KatsterNot ‘57 Fury’s. There weren’t enough around, far too rare. They mainly used Belvedere’s and Savoy’s dressed up like Fury’s. They had 23 vehicles and pretty much decimated all of them by the end of filming.

it was melted down and used to make Terminators. I mean, they didn't know then they would be Terminators....I believe "Domestic helper Robot" was the marketing name.

Novel leaves it open. Christine was crushed and one junkyard worker got bad cut from it. He said cube that was Christine bit him and Dennis didn't learn what happened to that cube. Then few years later he spots an newspaper article of bizarre car murder and victim was indirectly involved in Repperton's gang's attack on Christine. Maybe it recovered. Starts to move eastwards. To kill him last.
