I would rather prefer that the standard increments for cruise control to be only 1km/h, and then long press 5km/h increments. Also, it would be great to have proper trip computer data (distance, average consumption, power used, average speed, elapsed time...) that can be reset at the user discretion, instead of the last 50km average. Finally, implement a predicted SOC at arrival in the navigation system, taking in account elevation change, allowed/actual speed on the trip, weather and traffi.

Love the idea of estimated SoC at arrival. I wonder if it could consider speed limits to calculate estimated consumption (such as highway driving)

I like how the increments go up to the next 5km, ie from 67 to 70. From then on it's 5km per push. I don't want to be faffing about with 1km per push. A proper trip computer would be great. Had assumed it was there somewhere and I hadn't got to it yet.

They're not doing a max mode. 😂 It's a family cruiser FWD, not a sports car. No way the tyres are coping with a higher mode IMO. Wouldn't mind a one pedal mode, but the range in the city is already very high with the braking giving lots of power back. Can't see them doing it, but I'd definitely try it out if they did. Agree on the brightness. And the rear camera. Anyone else notice the air con doesn't get real cold? My 10 yr old VW had better air con. (Not a big deal but I noticed). Car can freak out a bit on Cruise contral when there is a large vehicle in the next lane, can break you heavily which might be dangerous - fixing that would be of high importance IMO. All up GREAT car IMO. Really enjoying driving it.

Grate Video ... Just a Couple.. Yes a Full Regen Mode giving that One Foot Driving.. Cruse Control .. a Way to make it jump up or down to last speed sing read By camera.. Option to Leave charge status screen on when car Locked (Be nice for Public charging) and unlock charger when done or add to App a Alarm saying Charged.. (Shared charger at work) when a Symbol (Error Code on Drivers Screen Pop's up) giving a option to access what the means on Main Screen.. had a Fue of these Symbols and finding them in manual when you do not know what the Symbol means is NOT fun.. Way to turn Car off - But be left in Passenger _Mode_ so they can enjoy Entertainment System / Air Con / Windows ETC But with out the risk of car being Nocked into Gear.. Thank you all of Reading! 😊

How did you change your driver display (small) to dark? I can only change the infotainment screen to dark :(

I’d like to see BYD introduce colours that stand out on their cars ! People notice bright colours, the Blue is a good stand out colour ! But what about a Metalic Yellow / Orange & a metallic Purple colour !

Absolutely . It is next to useless on sunny days.as you can not clearly see the speed it is set to or even if it's on!

Need larger fonts on drivers steering display

I feel they need to revamp the UI. Tablet like UI in a car doesn't look nice. They should have opted for Android Automotive. Look at Volvo/Geely/Polestar UX, they did a great job using Android Automotive and feels modern.

Is there the possibility of activating the automatic windshield wiper when it rains?

It would require a hardware update, to new version release. Needs to have a rain sensor.

Priority number one is to fix the FM radio. It's a mess. RDS-station names disappears from station saved in memory. Stations saved as favorites disappears from favorite list. Sound quality got worse when updated from 1.6. to 1.7. RDS-text often not shows at all.

I believe it is out in pre-2024 BYD Atto 3s in the latest update. V 1.8.0 Waiting to try it out myself.

Ooh what would city mode do?

The cruise control speed and graphics can not be seen in high luminous situations. The green against the blue or black background makes the speed set and ACC unreadable. I have tried all combinations of intensity settings . These modifications are necessary for safety reasons They are not cosmetic requests . Also the road side speed sign indicator is so small it is useless in real driving conditions. It needs to x2 its presentt size.

I agree in regard to the teeny weeny road sign indicators on the screen. I use Wayz as my navigation guidance on the big screen. The road sign speed limits are real attention grabbing signs.

You are so clever, I Think you should apply a designer job with BYD . If that is not available, there are plenty of job cleaning toilet

Why don't you go and buy a F15 ?
