Stabat Mater was the swan song of Pergolesi.
According to Plato, on the eve of his execution, Socrates said that before they die, swans sing more beautiful than ever before, not out of sadness but out of joy.
Swans make two kinds of sound. They hiss, grunt and gurgle when enraged or exited. When they fly, the flight feathers of their wings make a whistling or buzzing sound.
Featuring my sculpture "The Bureau of Icarus".
Ten swan flight feathers making pirouettes like little ballerina’s, turning around their axis 24 times a day. Played fast, compressed 1 hour in the time of this piece of music.
