What an unsportsmanlike behaviour from Kim Astrup. I understand that being in the moment can make you do one or two things, that could show a bit of attitude. But my god his acting towards the two koreans was pathetic. I'm very happy to see the reaction of the Koreans remaining calm and collected and in the end deservingly winning the title. That's what you call being humbled.

Danish deserved the loss and price to pay for mocking Koreans. Danish attitude specially Rasmu is really childish, now I remember (Sukamoljo). I make a huge smile when the Koreans win.

Victory aside, professionals at this level should conduct themselves with respect, for opponents, coaches and officials. I'd be embarrassed if I was a Danish fan for their behavior.

Kim Astrup tried to be another Kevin Sanjaja Sukamuljo with provoke moves toward opponent but he couldn't. Kevin is on another level. Danish pair's attitude was so bad, they didn't even apologize when hitting the shuttle to opponent's body. Poor !

I think the 58:42 play is in response to Kang's stare down at 56:46 😅 But Kang was already triggered by Astrup before that, like in 39:34

Amazing victory for Seo and Korea. Three of five gold medals won by Korean, making them the most successful nation in this World Championship. Two of which won by Seo in XD and MD, defying physical odds. What an achievement and historical moment!

I am happy that the Koreans won the gold medal, but I am happier that the Danes and their supportors’ dream got crushed.

Thought Danes would be more civilized than this. Sportsmanship was definitely lacking from the Danish pair and the home fans. Very disappointed in them.

Watanabe played very poorly in the match VS Korea, way below his normal level. Made me wonder if it was just a bad day or he is playing through an injury. Also lots of service errors in that match, from both sides.

Astrup has the worst sportsmanship in the game, and the coach keeps shouting in the middle of the game lol

Seo played 6 games in one day. Amazing endurance.

It was a tight match, and the Danes as the underdogs did extremely well. I felt they shouldn’t challenge their service that went out when they finally caught up with the Koreans and took a one-point lead when they were 15:14 up in the 2nd game. They broke their own momentum, which tells me they also wanted to step away from the court for the pressures and the possibilities as they were nearing the end of the second game, with a game already in their pocket. Another thing I wish Kim, in particular, had done differently was some of his front-court, mid-court net shots. I feel it’s been his playing style… He tends to go soft even when the returns from his opponents allow him to put some pressure and pace on them as if he always wants to make some changes at what I believe is the wrong time to play some of his cheeky shots…
