if you have problem with your remote, hookup the ir extender and unpair your bluetooth portion of your remote under settings // remote and accessories.

I have the Vidstick Max and am am still getting use to it. I have ordered the AQR 100 remote because I like the floating mouse. I would like your recommendation for the IPTV service for the Buzztv Vidstick Max. Thanks a lot. Love your videos and helpful information.

Thanks for sharing, but I don't have a fav when it comes to Channel providers, I would suggest who is good at your neighborhood, and get that.

For some reason the KZread TV app won't play on this device. The app boots up and shows channels but when I click on one I get a blank screen. Any ideas why this happens?

click home // open App store aka AptoidTV and search for KZread TV and update. then try again.

Thanks for all your reviews.. helps out alot. I got the Vidstick Max and I am having trouble with my air mouse. Hard to start and hard to turn off. When on it will just creep across the screen and up and down the same. Help me if you can. Thanks.

Which air mouse remote you got?

I just pug the same device but I cannot make it work the remote pairs only for a little bit and it won't work anymore. Any suggestions? Thanks

Have the same problem, worked initially but now none of the buttons work, have to hook up IR to navigate but still no volume button, power off, ..the learning mode is garbage imho

Read your comments, and i see it clearly you are missing steps (( Remote stopped *Bluetooth connection* )) Then you connect the IR Extender (( but )) i didn't hear you saying i have unpaired the remote. you need to Unpair first, use a computer keyboard and try this, connect to USB connection Then from main screen Select Settings//Remote & Accessories// BT-100 or BT-200 Select it// Select Unpair. Now The Remote will work as IR. This unit is not garbage, it is very powerful, but you need to know how to trouble shoot the remote. I have no issues playing with this unit.

is there a way to manually change the MAC Address ID # Server Address with the remote ?

Why would someone want to?

Was going to get Buzz XRS 4900 but this Vidstick Max has identical specs except for Buzz5tv (4900) Buzz4tv (Vidstick Max). Also different processors/GPUs. Will you do comparison? Is the 4900 worth an extra $70US?

The VidStick MAX is an S905F2 chipset and the XRS4900 is an S922X chipset they are not that similar, while you are getting the same results while using it, which is true. One thing you have to understand is XRS4900 Have Mimo WIFI 2X2 internal antenna/1Gb Land, You can add 2.5SATA or SSD up to 2TB Hard drive at the bottom, Comes with Buzztv 5.0, Now the VidStick Max is 5Ghz WIFI, Single Internal Antenna, No Lan Port and Using Buzztv 4.0 App. So the board is a lot smaller than XRS4900, and have only 1 USB 3.0 port. these are the differences, and I would jump and grab the XRS4900. Unless you want to only play with WIFI and less space and hide the Dongle behind your TV then VidStick way to go. Hope this helps, and not confuse you..

Why is the remote so sensitive?? I try to enter information and it will not respond slowly. It will just take off or it will put let say the letter "R" 10 times. Can you help with this problem?

unpair your Remote and use it as IR, then you will see the big difference.

I use Tivimate on the Nvidia Shield to record. Does this Vidstick or some other Buzztv box do a better job of recording?

Buzztv never come with any livetv it is on your hand to find and pay for subscription. So answer is no it is coming with livetv.

you can use 3rd party apps, to mirror, but the main miracast is not working properly.

formuler has more features, but support for the features do not exist. Buzztv on another hand they went above and beyond to help me know the a features.

@@cowballz is firestick / NVidia Shield which does not come with LiveTV app rooted??? Now, this box is not designed for Netflix HD because Netflix charges small companies like Buzztv arm and leg to get a license just to get your Netflix HD, not UHD. so why would you get Netflix there are so many other apps out there like Disney plus, Hulu, Prime Video, HBO MAX.

You forgot to unbox the power cable, state how long is it and what type of connection it uses. Additionally, Buzz devices do not have an air mouse feature, rather a mouse toggle that's controlled by your d'pad.

Yes, due to Our Video length went over 20 minutes need to cut some parts, but The Remote is not designed for Android OS rather for buzztv app itself. The other apps that require Air Mouse is not something any android box creators could control and anytime they change the design and functions. if you do need an Air mouse remote you can purchase it separately. Hope you didn't take this to heart, but this is our review and our honest review. only ideas and requests are welcome.

@@xctechs no not at all, I was just trying to clearify more definitively about the differences between an air mouse and a mouse toggle, they are quite different and I wouldn't want someone to purchase the Vidstick thinking they had an air mouse. Thank you for your reply.

@@xctechs I never claimed you were selling an air mouse. At 2:49 when doing a side by side comparison with the BT-200 and BT-100 you clearly say the "air mouse" button arrangement has been changed, I am saying that this will confuse viewers to think that this remote supports air mouse which it does not.

Sorry, i meant that comment for the 4900 series.

I am not sure why you would call a total box waste while you have a remote issue?? alot of people refer AIR mouse remote use with Android boxes. but that is your idea of bashing a box, but can you please keep your negative (( Remote issue )) comments and ask for support and help through Buzztv and not our review video?? we have nothing to do with your remote being sensitive on our video. we didn't see an remote issue with this unit.

@@xctechs the reason I bashed the box is for 1 month this has been a problem. Sorry you didn't like my complaint. This is not an easy box to deal with in my view. For what you pay I think I can complain when it doesn't work the was its supposed to!!
