In the video, Pace shares insights on a thrilling morning on the water. He showcases how to maximize your chances of catching bass using buzz frogs and hollow-body frogs. The buzz frog is perfect for covering water quickly and generating reaction bites, while the hollow body frog, specifically the popping frog, excels at targeting specific, high-percentage areas.
As Pace points out, adapting to changing conditions throughout the day is essential. Slow down and deliberate with your casts when the sun rises, and fish become more concentrated in denser cover. He demonstrates how the popping frog's resistance allows for a slower presentation, keeping the bait in the strike zone longer and increasing your chances of catching fish.
In addition, Cliff shares tips on rod, reel, and line setups for frog bass fishing. He emphasizes the importance of using a braided line and prefers a moderate-speed reel and a 7-foot-3-inch rod for casting accuracy.
Get ready to enhance your frog bass fishing skills with Cliff Pace as your guide. Discover how to effectively utilize buzz and hollow-body frogs in various conditions, leading to unforgettable mornings on the water. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn from one of the best in the business.

That Savage Gear duratech toad is amazing! I’ve caught so many 5 and 6 pound largemouth on it. I love being able to stop it next to a stick up or grass patch without it sinking. Best buzz toad by far

Well done my friend. I like fishing frogs. you just taught me the difference in frogs and how to really fish them. I also like spoons , thanks very much. I'm just an old ground pounding river bank fisherman, without a boat.

Stanley top toad is my favorite buzz toad, and I exclusively fish a buzz frog.i don't care for walking frogs or popping frogs. The kick legs are good for agressive bass and if you hammer it I to hvy covered you can blip the legs to draw viscous stikes .

I always prefer buzz frogs if I can.. if the weeds are thick enough they just sit up top just like the hollowbodies.

Savage Gear needs to beef up their hook they include in the package. I’ve bent them out and they are not ideal for heavy cover but the frog is awesome

@@Michaeldpress14 actually yes I have. I’m now using the Mustad Grip pin hooks in 5/0. The bait holder on the grip pin hooks is key for the elaztek frogs and these are much stronger hooks. Try them out you won’t be disappointed and will save you some heartache. Much better than the hooks that come with the Duratech toads
