I and my wife just came into the UK about 6 months ago. It’s our very strong “desire” to buy a house as soon as possible. Of course the money never Dey but there’s no harm in gathering information and inspiration now and you have done that for us. I like the excitement it’s really inspiring. Thank you.

Congratulations to you and your husband. I bought my first 3 bed house detached house in 2005 for 150k . I just find out last week the valuation of my house is 430k. House is the best investment. But always remember to add life insurance and sickness insurance with your mortgage. Because if you lost your job insurance will pay the mortgage until 6months before you find another Job.. if you pay cash m, ake you add life insurance too. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. Realistically, these are all variables. We all know houses in the south of England (near and around London) are usually more expensive compared to the midlands and up north. What you earn individually or as a couple shouldn’t stop you, as long as you can save and have a good credit score

Oh it isn’t quite a Nigerian thing, if the individual doesn’t know all those details you can’t expect them to mention right, also to add it’s important to state like example APR, what the interest is eg you pay double your loan or more and term eg 25-30-35 year term those are very key.

Hi Peter, Thank you for watching. I think I was quite specific based on the title. And for security reasons, I hope you understand why I cant tell you the location of my house. The 4 bed house was just personal preference between my husband and I. As regards the type of house, it’s a Lumley from persimmon, I’m sure I mentioned it in one of my videos. The price of a house in Uk is not generic, it depends on location. I wouldn’t completely agree with the Nigerian thing, it’s my channel, I have the right to reveal and withhold the information I choose to. I hope that helps 👍🏾

Congratulations 🎊 however there's a lotta things you didn't mention, credit scores, salary which i think is personal, but what multiplying factor did they developer use? The legal aspects of it. How long have you been in the UK? I have been in the UK for about 20 years and still not bought my first house, I am a British citizen and i am aware of how the industry operates as a Quantity Surveyor with 10 years experience. I can't phantom how you can buy a newbuilt house in 3 months. There's definitely something you're doing and not telling us. If its illegal, i dont want to be part of it and you'll be fished out sooner or later.

True but that’s if you commit to take the mortgage eventually. They don’t ask for money to give you advice, so you can speak to as many of them for free.
