Movie Gallery was indeed a video/game rental store just like Blockbuster. We had them all over the Southeast US. One of their headquarters was about an hour from my house in Dothan, AL.

Seeing the boys together and having such a blast made me smile. Ricky with the sign that's cold 😂

Than blockbuster came and destroyed them this was in vero beach - I used to go to swensens (you should look it up) had a train that went around and we walked next door to blockbuster. Damn that was a long time ago! aghhhh

I had a Movie Gallery in my small town in central IL. It was just a movie/video game rental place. I think it was owned by the same people that owned Hollywood video and game crazy. I remember buying a bunch of Dreamcast games from there when the Dreamcast was discontinued.

My 3 daughters (5,7,9) got hooked on Lucy and binged whole series like twice. I thought that was crazy.

Not sure how far widespread, but we deff had movie gallery in my town in Alabama. It was basically a blockbuster.

Dang I thought Ricky was wearing a black laker cap or something but, zoomed in and it was totally more rad than that!! I was apart of the Super Nintendo Club back in the day lol , wish I could find some of that sweet colorful merch. Mail-ins we’re the jam back then, so many freebies , i.e., promo preview cassetts etc.

Gotta admit, as cold as that comment was, Ricky did made me laugh with the “flooded” sign “for your game room!” 😂

I had a movie gallery by my house. I use to get the damage protection on games I rented and switch out my own copy. My little brother was really bad at not putting the games back in the case. So they would get damaged where they wouldn’t read. All the games I owned would take me months of saving to buy. So this was a an alternative for me on some of my personal games.

I had the xband for snes..it was good stuff for it's time... I remember playing doom with it....

Tell Gabbo I said "FUCKIN' SLAYER!" If he's a real fan, he'll get it. Inside joke for Slayer fans.

we had movie gallery in florida but I can’t remember ever renting anything there

Toy story is my all time favorite, but I do love Lion King and the little mermaid. I'd have to say the OG 101 Dalmations is way up there on my list, too. I was 10 or 11 when it came out, and I remember my dad taking me and a friend to the drive-in movie to see it. I never cared about Marvel ( I was a DC kid) but, when I saw Endgame, I went back and binged all the Marvel movies, read up on all the stories and now, I'm a Marvel fan. PS. I don't think I've seen Cruella, so I'll be catching up on that.
