I fell in love with this car way back in pre school(2008-09).For me its like a first crush.I remember that having one was a symbol of having arrived in life back then

We had the w203 before and frankly speaking im not a great fan of its styling.w204s were nice

I'm using a W211 merc E240 since 2003 from 0km... And still that's my daily car and now the car has done 700K kms... And still my car is a king in the road. Have been using many other models of Lexus & BMW models.. But they can't beat the reliability and low maintenance costs of this W211... The main thing is their good stability on the road and the safety features.. 😊

How abt the SBC issues with your car , how did u sort those out ? Suspensions replaced ?

Evergreen Model. The Picture that comes to our mind when we hear Benz.

Since Old BMW have disappeared and old mercedes are available with all sort of electrical and mechanical failures, it is understood why Lexus /Toyotas have great resale values across the Globe.

Compare toyota with bajaj autorikshaw and not with high rev german cars. High engine rpm means more pleasure and high maintenance.

Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. Very informative too. I've been using a E280 Cdi for the past 2 years. She is my daily driver and I could completely identify with your thoughts about this version. I also had a W124 which was brought into Kerala... and I hear that she is somewhere in TVM. Subscribed. A nice presentation . Being a proud owner of 2009 ,E220 CDI ,a few points about the W211, 4 cylinder diesel. It's fabulous , driver friendly and over all gives 14 KM per litre. I do service from people outside . Hence, the service costs are minimal , Rs.6000 , for 10000 km . Additional Rs.2500 for Diesel Filter ( Mayle) at 20000 km . Did EGR, Inlet-Manifold , Radiator , serviced by Mr.Babu ( specialized in Passat , Mini Cooper and Merc) , at Rs .10000. My car is it's 108000 km and on its superb performance .

Saw a W211 E55 in black few years ago in Pune, it was simply one of the best looking cars I've ever seen.

I own a W211 E 350 petrol CBU with airmatic suspension and panoramic roof ……So far so good ….car is very comfy.

Thanks for the great video actually when it comes to Mercs 211's are the one that actually come into my mind and the lastly about the CLS I remember seeing one frequently in Kochi like 10yrs back a silver one

I fall love with this w211 E class from Jacobinte Swargarajyam movie That was a love at first sight 😀. From there onwards I have a curiosity to MERCEDES brand and started researching on it.

My uncle has a w211 e240 2006 model black colour and still it is running smoothly, as you said it is great in driving and back seat comfort is unreal and that was my 1st love for Mercedes !

I remember a friend of my dad's gifted me a beautiful scale model of the 211 e55 Kompressor. Up until then all my model cars felt meh, so I knew this one was special, because the thing had so much detail and was made of solid metal! More importantly, it was such a good looking car! That was the first time I'd even heard of Mercedes and that was also the moment my craze for cars began. I believe I was 7 or 8 at the time. Wish I'd taken better care of the scale model though!😅

All dependent on maintainance . MH , u need to be extra careful as they drive the car a minimum 3 Lakh KM,hence the costs involved on replacement of expensive parts.

Common problem is air intake damper valves . U need to change intake manifold .
