I like those 0311T irons. Played the P version for quite a while. If I had gone with the T version then they would probably still be in the bag.

Another fun video James. I truly believe I have finally created my perfect bag for my age and slower swing speed. (I'm 59) consistency is almost always there for me now and you have had alot to do with it. Titleist tsr2 driver 10 degree senior flex. TM stealth 2 hd 3 and 5 wood. Regular flex. Ping G430 5 through pw irons also regular flex and titleist vokey sm7 46, 50 and 56 which I pretty much use the 50 everywhere within 45 yards from the green. Mixed bag for sure but they work for me.

In respect of putter investment, you use it 24-40 times a round, driver about 12-14, so clearly getting putter right could save the most shots

i putt just as good or bad with cheap or dear putters. Same as clubs lots of hype for most of us better spending it on lessons

I just got the jailbird and my putting is a ton better but the best rounds I have are when my driver is going straight haha

Tell him to square up his shoulders at address. He keeps pushing shots to the right, because his left shoulder is wide open, while his feet are set up for a draw.

Love the ChipR, great for links courses and slower greens, good to about 100yds. Definitely aimed right, especially with the utility iron.

Got myself a used set of PXG 0311 XP’s Gen 3 about a month ago. LOVE those clubs. Got my first hole in one about a week ago with them!

the putter is the most important club in the bag... ask any pro... more strokes are dropped on the green than anywhere else...

I found a set of the Gen 3 0311 P's at a 2nd hand sports store for $160 and tbh I completely hated them. They were good for distance dispersions but I was all over the place with them. Granted Im only a 14 handicap but they just werent for me. Good part is I resold them for $400 :P
